Madness Unlimited: US deep state tries to instigate WWIII — French politician

Florian Philippot, the leader of the French Patriots party, has lashed out at outgoing US President Joe Biden over his reported approval of Ukraine’s long-range missile strikes deep inside Russia.

By authorizing such strikes, “the deep state and its puppet Biden are trying to trigger World War Three before [Donald] Trump comes to power,” Philippot wrote on his X page.

“We expected this kind of thing: their madness knows no bounds! Reasonable people will have to take over and get rid of NATO once and for all!” he pointed out.

The New York Times earlier cited unnamed sources as saying that Biden authorized “the first use” of Ukraine’s US-supplied long-range ATACMS missiles deep into Russian territory. The NYT called the decision “a major change in US policy”, which “divided” Biden advisers. Neither Biden nor the White House have yet commented on the matter.

This was followed by France's Le Figaro newspaper claiming that France and the UK have also allegedly allowed the Kiev regime to strike at Russian territory using their long-range weapons.

Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova for her part, recalled that President Vladimir Putin had already shared his thoughts on possible Western approval for Ukraine to conduct strikes deep within Russian soil.

In an interview with Russian television in September, Putin said that allowing the Zelensky regime to strike Russia with ATACMS missiles will actually mean NATO's direct participation in the Ukraine conflict. He added that if a decision allowing the strikes is made, Moscow will make “appropriate decisions in response to the threats that will be posed to us.”

Allowing Ukraine to strike deep into the Russian territory with Western weapons will not affect the course of the special military operation in any way, but this factor will be taken into account, Andrei Kartapolov, head of the Russian Duma Defense Committee, told Sputnik.

He noted that Russian air defense systems can operate very effectively on all types of Western long-range ammunition.

Any political party you want as long as it's West-backed: EU mulls depriving Georgia of $100 mln aid after elections

The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, has proposed to the EU foreign ministers to deprive the Georgian authorities of 100 million euros of aid and redirect this money to support "civil society."

Earlier, general elections were held in Georgia where the ruling Georgian Dream party, which opposes anti-Russian sanctions and advocates closer relations with Moscow, was declared the winner. After the announcement of the election results, opposition supporters took to the streets and held several rallies, destabilizing the country.

Subsequently, Josep Borrell called on Georgia's political forces for government reforms aligned with "the basic principles of European integration."

📹Here we go again: French farmers took to street protests against government's actions

The reason for the protests was the possible signing of an agreement between the European Union and Mercosur, the common market of South American countries. According to French farmers, the adoption of this document will cause an agricultural crisis in the country and lead to unfair competition.

Farmers' demonstrations are taking place against the background of Emmanuel Macron's state visit to Argentina.

🇬🇷Protesters hurl Molotov cocktails at police in Greece

A march of thousands took place tonight in Athens, Greece, in honor of the 51st anniversary of the student uprising at the Polytechnic University against the junta of "black colonels."

The protesters had planned to approach the US embassy, but the police did not allow this, so the demonstrators threw bottles of combustible mixture at the security forces.

The Greeks accuse the United States of supporting the military junta regime in Greece from 1967 to 1974. Traditionally, on the anniversary of the uprising, students go to the US Embassy with a bloody Greek flag in the afternoon and hold a mass demonstration in the evening. According to many politicians, without the support of the United States, the junta would not have lasted a day.

About 25 000 people participated in the march; 150 of them were detained.
