📢 Parler’s app returned to Apple’s AppStore on Monday.

The platform, which presents itself as a free-speech alternative to Facebook or Twitter, announced its return in February – but the app only just became accessible on iOS, with some content redacted.

However, anything banned by iOS but allowed on the platform will be accessible through Parler’s web-based and Android versions.

Colombia Special Riot Police (Esmad) dispersed protesters at Las Aguas Station, near Gabriel Garcia Marquez Journalist Park, in central Bogota. Two police armored cars chased a group of demonstrators using tear gas, stun grenades and rubber bullets.

"We are being attacked with two armored cars. But people are firm, very firm," student Alejandro Pinzon, 21, who participated in the demonstration, said.

Protests against the tax reform have been underway in Colombia since April 28. Despite Colombian President Ivan Duque withdrawing the controversial reform on Sunday, protesters have continued to rally across the country for a better health system and higher salaries, among other demands.

The US Supreme Court ruled on Monday that the police can’t search people’s homes or seize property without a warrant – unless “exigent” circumstances occur.

Such circumstances include if an officer believes that evidence is in danger of being destroyed, for example, or if a suspect is fleeing.

US Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin has expressed his support for de-escalating the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and lamented the "loss of innocent Israeli and Palestinian lives."

He made his comments during a conversation with his Israeli counterpart, Defence Minister Benny Gantz.
The officers who fatally shot Andrew Brown Jr. won’t face charges after an investigation found their actions were “justified.”

Brown was shot and killed by police while trying to drive away from officers who had arrived to serve a warrant. The officers, who had surrounded his vehicle after he attempted to flee from the scene, feared for their safety after almost being run over.
The US’ withdrawal from Afghanistan is 20 percent complete.

The military has removed the equivalent of 115 military transport planes worth of material out of the country, CENTCOM says. It has also handed over control of five military facilities to Afghanistan.
