⚡️US Republicans propose a bill to impose sanctions on Russia in response to any "Ukraine incursion"
👮Police in Albuquerque, New Mexico, told Fox News that crime is surging in their city because cops are not allowed to do their jobs.
The Albuquerque Police Department entered into a settlement agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice in November 2014 after an investigation concluded the local agency "engaged in a pattern or practice of use of excessive force."
For example, if an officer puts a resisting suspect into handcuffs during an arrest, it could be considered the use of force, Willoughby said. He told Fox News an investigation could take officers off the street for four to six hours and that this happens regularly.
In 2021, Albuquerque broke its annual homicide record with 117 killings. According to local media reports, the city's yearly homicide count has averaged about 45 homicides per year over the last 35 years.

📢 Former President Trump says Durham probe exposing 'the crime of the century,' predicts it's 'just the beginning.'
"It looks like this is just the beginning, because, if you read the filing and have any understanding of what took place, and I called this a long time ago, you're going to see a lot of other things happening, having to do with what, really, just is a continuation of the crime of the century," Trump told Fox News.
Trump was reacting to Durham's Feb. 11 court filing, in which he accused lawyers of Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign of "exploiting" internet traffic to "establish 'an inference' and 'narrative'" to then bring to federal government agencies tying Trump to Russia.

🦠 The White House is seeking another $30B for the battle against COVID.
It’s unclear how the new request for supplemental funding will fare in Congress. Republicans would like to see more COVID-19 relief for businesses still struggling with the pandemic, while progressive Democrats want to put more resources into vaccinating the rest of the world.
Humanitarian groups, along with dozens of Democratic lawmakers, have been pressing the Biden White House and key committee leaders in Congress to provide billions of dollars for global vaccination efforts. They argue that it will help fend off another coronavirus variant that could spread worldwide with deadly consequences.
