🐶 Missing dog at the US Senate
This morning, a lost dog followed US Senator Mike Crapo (R-ID) around in the Dirksen Senate Office Building.
"I wondered why you guys were all looking at me," Crapo said. It is not his dog; it just went into a hearing room. The dog was recovered by a staffer, who explained that "somebody left the door open."
The author of the tweet @burgessev declared ''I could break a story on BBB set to pass the Senate and it would get less traction than this dog tweet.''

An Allegiant Airlines passenger was kicked off a flight because he refused to change his mask from one that purportedly had the slogan “Let’s go, Brandon,” video shows.
Though the video does not show the message on his mask, the caption said it featured the slogan “Let’s Go, Brandon,” a not-so-secret code for “F*ck Joe Biden” among conservatives.
“The video in question depicts part of an incident involving a passenger who failed to comply with repeated crew member requests to adhere to the federal face mask policy,” the airline said in a statement.

🔎 The U.S. Justice Department has tapped a seasoned computer crimes prosecutor to lead its new national cryptocurrency enforcement team and announced on Thursday that the FBI is launching a unit for blockchain analysis and virtual asset seizure.
The creation of the FBI's "virtual asset exploitation" unit comes after the Justice Department's largest-ever financial seizure earlier this month. It charged a married New York couple with allegedly laundering bitcoins now valued at over $4.5 billion that were stolen in the 2016 hack of the digital currency exchange Bitfinex.
In some of those cases, the FBI has been able to track down and recover some of the ransom.
