According to the 2005 agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, the Rafah crossing may operate only when EU observers are present at the site and if the Israeli side agrees.
EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas confirmed that the European Union decided to resume the assistance mission on the border between Egypt and the Gaza Strip in Rafah.

A Southern Lebanon military intelligence head handed Hezbollah classified information jeopardizing a ceasefire agreement with Israel, Britain's The Times reported citing intelligence sources.
Suhil Bahij Gharb, responsible for peacekeeping, allegedly provided the information from inside a security control room operated by the US, France and the UN.
He was present in the international situation room on the insistence of the senior Hezbollah commander Wafiq Safa. Safa, who heads the group’s so-called co-ordination and liaison committee, survived an Israeli assassination attempt in Beirut last October.

📈 Russia's LNG exports surge to a record high in 2024
Russia’s liquefied natural gas exports grew by 4% in 2024 as compared to the year before, Kpler analytics data showed.
A record 33.6 million tons of LNG were delivered to customers, with a monthly record of 3.25 million tons sent to international markets last December. This is 13.7% more than the November 2024 level.
According to Kpler, the largest export volume in 2024 came from Russia's Yamal LNG, with deliveries reaching a total of 21.1 million tons, which is 6% more than in 2023.
