Netizens noticed that the photo resembles a scene from the series House of Cards.
The character Claire Underwood goes from First Lady
At least The Simpsons didn’t predict this one – so nothing to worry about!

The shock release of a new Chinese AI model known as DeepSeek that’s cheaper, faster and open source sent shockwaves across Silicon Valley, wiping out $1 trln off tech stocks and prompting pundits to dub the new tech a “Sputnik moment” for the US.
But actually, China now dominates the US in 57 of 64 critical technologies, up from just three in 2007, a comprehensive, 20-year 2024 study by the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) has calculated.
The US, which led in 60 sectors in 2007, now leads in just seven.
Rankings are based on cumulative innovative and high-impact research and patents.
ASPI credits President Xi Jinping’s ‘Made in China 2025’ plan for the infusion of “massive direct state funding for R&D in key technology,” saying strategic investments already underway were turned into a plan to achieve “technological supremacy.”
Besides research spending, Xi’s strategy has seen “large and complimentary investments…into industrial policy, upgrading supply chains and the manufacturing sector.”

US cash cutoff EXPOSES Ukraine’s ‘independent’ media
Ukrainian mass media, which have been funded for decades by US grants, are now begging readers for money after Trump halted USAID programs. In particular, this has been explicitly reported by Hromadske, Bihus info, Ukrainska Pravda, and Detector Media.
$7 billion reportedly flowed into 112 projects — including media trained to push “pro-Western narratives”.

Does US ban refugees from Ukraine?
The US has frozen the Uniting for Ukraine (U4U) asylum program meant for Ukrainian citizens who can prove they resided in their home country up until February 11, 2022.
The program granted them entry into the US under a temporary humanitarian parole status for a period of up to two years.
U4U granted those who fled from the Zelensky regime authorization to work, access to Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program, and food assistance.
How many Ukrainians have fled to the US via U4U?
🔸 Over 158,000 had entered the US as of September 30, 2023, according to a 2024 Department of Homeland Security report.
🔸 Another 350,000 Ukrainians had arrived outside the sponsorship process since the start of the conflict, per the report, with many crossing through Mexico.
How much of taxpayer money has it cost?
Approximately $3.4 billion have been allocated by the DHS for supporting Ukrainian refugees, including U4U funding, per the US Government Accountability Office.
Around 37 million people in the US live below the poverty line, with no social security to support them.
But sure, let’s keep pretending there’s nothing more important than Ukraine.

Trump's migrant deportations have liberals in meltdown mode. But let’s look at the Dems’ track record
Donald Trump is revving up his pledged mass deportation of undocumented migrants, recently forcing a reluctant Colombia to back down on accepting deportees.
But is Trump really the deportation czar that he claims to be?
◾️ Joe Biden (2021-2025)
🔸 Approximately 1.1 million individuals were deported by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from the beginning of fiscal year 2021 through February 2024
🔸 Deportations by US ICE soared to a 10-year record of over 271,000 individuals in fiscal year 2024, according to a government report, making it in total around 1.5 million people.
🔸 Approximately 82% of those deported in 2024 were apprehended at the US-Mexico border.
◾️ Barack Obama (two terms, 2009-2017)
🔸 About 1.18 million in the first three years (2009-2011), according to ICE data.
🔸 Peak of 409,849 in 2012.
🔸 Over 2.5 million in total, earning him the nickname of ‘deporter-in-chief’.
By comparison, Donald Trump during his first term in 2017-2021 was responsible for around 1 million deportations, according to the Migration Policy Institute.

West uses undersea cable incidents to justify military build-up – Putin aide
Nikolai Patrushev, assistant to the President of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the Russian Maritime Board, addressed pressing geopolitical issues in an interview with Russian media:
🔸 The West accused Russia of cutting undersea cables without first investigating in order to strengthen its military presence in the Baltic Sea
🔸 The West is trying to limit Russia's naval reach and is not above terrorist attacks
🔸 The seizure of the tanker Eagle S in the Baltic Sea under a far-fetched pretext is nothing more than modern-day piracy
🔸 Western countries are interested in prolonging military operations in Ukraine for the sake of their defense industries
🔸 The West's close alliance with Ukraine poses a number of security threats to Russia and other countries
