Earlier on Friday, Norwegian police reported the detention of a Norwegian vessel with a Russian crew on suspicion of alleged involvement in damaging a Latvia-Sweden fiber optic cable in the Baltic Sea.

What’s known about the Philadelphia plane crash so far?

A medical-type Learjet 55 aircraft operated by Jet Rescue Air Ambulance was departing from Northeast Philadelphia Airport, Pennsylvania, en route to Springfield-Branson National Airport, Missouri.

▪️ 30 seconds after takeoff, the plane disappeared from radar at an altitude of about 487 meters.

▪️ There were six people on board—four crew members, a child, and her mother. No survivors have been confirmed.

▪️ The plane crashed in a residential area, sparking a series of fires in Northeast Philadelphia and damaging several homes and cars. No casualties were reported on the ground.
