The two "will discuss Gaza, the hostages, dealing with all components of the Iranian axis, and other key issues," according to a statement from the Israeli prime minister, with the meeting scheduled for February 4.

The visit comes amid a fragile six-week ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, which Trump has claimed credit for advancing.

In his invitation to Netanyahu, Trump expressed his eagerness to “discuss how we can bring peace to Israel and its neighbors, and efforts to counter our shared adversaries,” according to a White House letter shared by Netanyahu's office.
