In a deal made behind closed doors, LA Mayor Karen Bass selected Hagerty Consulting to lead the city’s wildfire recovery efforts, Breitbart reported.

Two former disaster recovery experts at the firm, Walter Melnick and Mark O’Mara, pleaded guilty to STEALING OVER $600,000 from Hurricane Sandy relief funds.

There were apparently two other bidders. The amount of the Hagerty contract with LA has not yet been disclosed.
