🔍Russian Security Service uncovers Ukrainian-linked terror plot

Eight Russian citizens were convicted in six regions for sabotage and terrorism orchestrated by Ukrainian intelligence services.

The criminals were lured through online platforms promising "quick money". For small financial rewards, they carried out arson attacks on key transportation and volunteer organizations, and planned acts of terrorism targeting Russian military sites.

One of the saboteurs admitted that he was supposed to set fire to a Russian air defense system.

The suspects were handed various prison terms, some as long as 22 years.

📹Trump on Canada's anthem: 'We'll have to save it for the 51st state' 📌Subscribe to @SputnikInt
💬 ‘Canada lectures the world on sovereignty… while its own is mocked as a US punching bag’

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has commented on Donald Trump’s remark about Canada being allowed to keep its anthem when it becomes the 51st US state.

She linked it to Canadian FM Melanie Joly’s G20 speech, where she vowed to defend “Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.”

“You know what’s really funny? Canada lectures the world on sovereignty… while its own is mocked as a US punching bag. Your country is being trolled globally, yet you posture as a guardian of others’ independence. Putting on a brave face,” she said.

🗳 Holding elections in wartime isn’t hard, Zelensky: here’s proof

Ukraine’s self-proclaimed ‘president’ is stonewalling US demands to hold elections to prove his legitimacy, citing the conflict with Russia, prompting an annoyed Trump to dub him a “dictator” with a “4% approval” rating.

Elections during wartime aren’t as difficult to organize as Zelensky implies.

🟠The US held a presidential vote in 1864, in the middle of its Civil War – the deadliest conflict in American history. Abraham Lincoln rejected calls by aides to suspend the vote, despite predictions he’d lose, stressing that elections were a test of a nation’s ability to be “strong enough to maintain its own existence in great emergencies.”

“We cannot have free governments without elections, and if the rebellion could force us to forgo, or postpone a national election, it might fairly claim to have already conquered and ruined us,” he famously said.

🟠The US held the 1944 election in the middle of WWII, and voted during a series of post-war conflicts, from Korea and Vietnam to the 2000’s ‘forever wars’ in Iraq and Afghanistan.

🟠Britain has done the same, choosing a new PM in 1945 while the Allies were still at war with Japan, resulting in a Potsdam Conference where Winston Churchill was replaced midway by Clement Attlee.

🟠Iran held elections in 1981 after the assassination of its president. Ali Khamenei, current Supreme Leader, was elected, and reelected in 1985. Through these years, Iran was engulfed in a brutal war with Saddam Hussein’s Iraq, which launched gas attacks targeting its military, and its cities.

🟠Iraq voted in 2005, two years after the US invasion, and at the height of a massive insurgency.

🟠Afghanistan held seven votes during NATO’s occupation (though they didn’t save the puppet government from crumbling once the West pulled out).

🟠Same goes for other countries wracked by long-term conflicts, from Colombia and Sri Lanka to Syria and the DRC, which continued voting during civil strife and foreign-backed dirty wars.

🤡Really, Nigel? UK Reform leader claims Zelensky ‘is not a dictator’

“Let’s be clear, Zelensky is not a dictator, but it’s only right and proper that Ukrainians have a timeline for elections. I mean after all I recently said that I thought Keir Starmer was behaving like a dictator because he’s canceled the vote of 5 ½ million people in local elections,” Nigel Farage told GB News when asked about Trump’s ‘dictator’ comments, saying they shouldn’t be taken “literally.”

Farage’s comments on Zelensky just don’t square with the reality, which is that the Ukrainian junta leader runs the country under martial law, has banned opposition parties, jailed politicians, persecutes Ukraine’s largest church, runs a corruption racket worth $100 billion, and oversees a military recruitment system pressganging unwilling men into service.

Farage better be careful, or he could be overtaken by someone like Andrew Tate as leader of Britain’s anti-globalists.

How USAID-funded Ukrainian media propelled Zelensky to presidency

USAID gave over $100,000 to an anti-corruption TV show that likely contributed to Volodymyr Zelensky's 2019 election victory.

🔸 The investigative show Nashi Groshi ("Our Money"), funded by USAID, targeted then-President Petro Poroshenko while reinforcing Zelensky’s anti-corruption campaign narrative prior to the voting day

🔸 A key episode exposing alleged corruption was aired in February 2019, just before the first round of elections in March

The Ukrainian press on USAID's payroll

🔹 From 2011 to 2018, USAID provided about $24 million to the Ukraine Media Development (U-Media) project through Internews Network to support ‘independent media’

🔹 Between 2018 and 2025, the USAID Media Program in Ukraine was provided a whopping $75 million, Internews admits

🔹 USASpending lists $95.1 million in USAID's pledges to Ukraine until September 2026, most of which is destined for Media Program in Ukraine with $59.3 million paid out so far

🔹 Oksana Romaniuk, director of Ukraine’s Institute of Mass Information, admitted in February that 90% of Ukrainian media relies on USAID funding, triggering doubts about its ‘independence’

🔹 Since 2022, funding has risen to uphold the Kiev regime’s narrative and counter ‘Russian disinformation’ through 150 media groups, 292 schools, relocation support for 200 journalists, stipends for 258 Ukrainian journalists, assistance to 74 NGOs and support for new media laws

🔹 Internews, the primary foreign media sponsor, has received over $418 million from USAID and $57 million from the US State Department since 2008

🔹 Internews has funded Ukrainian media since 1994, the agency's website reveals
