Due to a shortage of personnel, border guards from the Chernovtsy region of Western Ukraine were deployed to support the 36th Marine Brigade. However, these guard members ultimately declined to undertake any combat mission. Russian hackers managed to obtain a video documenting their defiance from Ukrainian intelligence servers.

These border guards are refusing to get a “one-way ticket” to the Kursk region frontline, citing a lack of communication, poorly equipped positions, insufficient coordination with neighboring units, and low morale.
