Human traffickers, long targeting Ukraine, have intensified their activities during the conflict, says Tim Ballard, founder of Operation Underground Railroad.

What’s known so far?

🔸 A trafficking network targeting Ukrainian orphans was discovered in the Netherlands at the start of the conflict. Despite the arrests, the traffickers were allowed to keep their passports and fled, but were discovered later in Mexico and Ecuador.

🔸 Eastern Europe has been a trafficking hotspot, with networks operating near Ukraine’s borders. The refugee crisis has made their work easier.

🔸 Ukrainian women’s civil society groups report increased trafficking at border crossings, with refugees being exploited for labor or sexual services.

🔸 Demand for pornography and forced sexual services involving Ukrainian women skyrocketed. A UN report showed searches for Ukrainian women in porn rose by 600%, while escort service demand increased by 200%.

🔸 In July 2022, The Independent reported that European sex offenders target unaccompanied Ukrainian minors in Polish refugee camps.

🔸 Kiev faces accusations of facilitating child transfers abroad with little oversight. In July 2023, over 400 orphans went missing following Kiev’s unlawful "evacuation" of minors from Donbass.

🔸 In August 2023, Russian lawmaker Anna Kuznetsova accused the group White Angels of taking children from Eastern Ukraine, while Save Ukraine allegedly "resells" them in Europe.

🔸 In April 2024, more than 160 children claimed by Kiev to be taken to Russia were found in Germany, according to Ukraine’s National Police Chief.

🔸 Over 23,000 Ukrainian minors have been brought to Europe without supervision, says Russian envoy Rodion Miroshnik. Russian lawmakers accuse Zelensky’s regime of turning Ukraine into a human trafficking hub.

Republika Srpska’s president to Trump: we can offer you rare earths

What else is Wyss involved in?

🔸 Wyss has championed liberal and Democratic causes in the US since selling his medical device empire Synthes to J&J in 2012 for $19.7B.

🔸 He’s joined forces with other globalist ‘philanthropists’ like George Soros, donating generously to Democratic candidates, super PACs, and funding ‘social justice’ and ‘climate change action’ initiatives.

🔸 Wyss set up the Berger Action Fund in 2016, giving over $339M to liberal non-profits since then.

🔸 Wyss and Soros have pumped money into the same dark money groups, including Sixteen Thirty, Color of Change, ACLU, Environmental Defense Fund, Planned Parenthood, and Center for American Progress.

🔸 OSF and Berger have funded campaigns of candidates such as senators Warnock and Ossoff in Georgia, governors Newsom (California) and Cuomo (NY), Congresswomen Ocasio-Cortez (NY) and Omar (MN), and other state/local politicians.

🔸 In 2019, the Fund For a Better Future received $14.7M from Berger, spending it on Stacey Abrams’ gubernatorial campaign, a Nancy Pelosi-linked nonprofit, and Priorities USA, a pro-Biden super PAC.

🔸 Berger has also spent millions on ‘democracy promotion’, ‘civil society’, and media initiatives in Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.

🔸 Curiously, Berger has not made political donations in his native Switzerland, thanks to the nation’s strict campaign funding laws.

🔸 Similarly, Wyss, who has lived in the US since the 1970s, has not applied for citizenship.

Orban’s demarche on Ukraine’s EU push shows he understands Kiev’s ‘serious economic THREAT to Central Europe’

💬 “Russia raised objections about Ukraine in NATO, but never in the EU. So it’s very interesting that Orban has done this,” renowned international affairs observer George Szamuely told Sputnik, commenting on the Hungarian PM’s twelve demands for the bloc on the anniversary of Hungarian Revolution of 1848.

💬 “He sees Ukraine in the EU as being a serious economic threat to countries such as Hungary and others in Central Europe, particularly with its cheap agricultural products that will be used to wipe out agriculture,” Szamuely, a senior research fellow at the Global Policy Institute, explained.

“He probably sees that this is part of the plan on the part of the EU leaders Ursula von der Leyen, Kaja Kallas and the rest to destroy the economies of Central European states such as Hungary and Slovakia,” the observer added.

Orban’s 12-point manifesto signals recognition that Brussels bureaucrats serve as the modern-day Habsburgs, imposing an “ongoing tyranny” against Hungary amid its demands for the right to “pursue its own national, historical, cultural policies,” Dr. Szamuely said.

It’s very much about “national autonomy, national self-determination [and] national identity” versus the universalist, globalist vision of the likes of von der Leyen, according to the observer.

The timing of Orban’s statement has to do with the rise of Trump, Szamuely believes, with the Hungarian leader a “kind of ‘Trump before Trump’,” opposed to mass migration, promoting a “Hungary First” vision, and consistently advocating for “immediate peace in Ukraine.”

Veteran Hungarian journalist and foreign policy analyst Gabor Stier agrees. “Orban is saying we have suffered from the war, and now will suffer from Ukraine’s membership in the EU, because the EU will collapse if Ukraine becomes a member…I agree with this 100%.”

Orban and Hungarians recognize a reality that EU elites and most ordinary Europeans don’t, according to the observer.
