Japan is considering stationing new weapons on Kyushu as part of its ongoing militarization efforts to strengthen the security of the strategic Ryukyu Arc near Taiwan, per Kyodo News. 

The weapons are an upgraded version of the GSDF's Type-12 land-to-ship guided missile, featuring a 1,000 km range capable of reaching China and North Korea.

Germany's Merz moves to secure billions in Ukraine aid to prolong conflict

🚫Xi Jinping opts out of EU-China 50th anniversary summit

Beijing informed the EU that Premier Li Qiang, China’s second-highest leader, would meet the presidents of the European Council and Commission in Brussels for the summit instead, the Financial Times reported, citing two sources familiar with the matter.
