A monument commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Soviet people's victory in the Great Patriotic War was unveiled in Caracas, Venezuela, a Sputnik correspondent reported.

The ceremony, led by Vice President Delcy Rodriguez, was attended by top Venezuelan officials, including Vice President for Politics, Civil Security and Peace Diosdado Cabello and Minister of Defense Vladimir Padrino Lopez, as well as Russian Ambassador Sergey Melik-Bagdasarov and other diplomatic representatives.
