The Europeans and Americans are no longer pulling in the same direction when it comes to enforcing sanctions, an internal report from the Federal Foreign Office on a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council revealed, Süddeutsche Zeitung reports.

According to the memo, EU sanctions chief David O'Sullivan is sounding the alarm: Transatlantic coordination on the issue has flatlined.

💬 “No more joint outreach,” he warned. And G7 efforts? Also losing steam.

How the West plans to agree on another sanctions package in this mess is anyone’s guess, the outlet remarks, especially with experts suggesting Donald Trump would like to do business with Russia again sooner rather than later.

So much for the “united front” on sanctions that never worked and only blew back in their faces.

1️⃣ In response to massive Ukrainian drone strikes and provocations, Russian forces are conducting precise and necessary defensive operations.

2️⃣ The Russian MoD confirms that strikes are carried out EXCLUSIVELY against legitimate military objectives, including defense industry sites and enemy combat infrastructure.

3️⃣ The Ukrainian forces are attacking civilians, deliberately targeting residential areas. Russian operations strictly avoid civilian harm, focusing solely on degrading enemy combat capabilities.

❗️Russian air defense systems intercepted & destroyed 2,331 Ukrainian drones from the evening of May 20 to the morning of May 27 — with more than half of them outside the special military operation zone.

👉In response, the Russian Army struck (May 20-26):

🟠Ozernoye airfield and ammunition depots in the Dnepropetrovsk region.

🟠Infrastructure at the Starokonstantinov airfield in the Khmelnytsky region.

🟠Ammunition depots in the Kharkov region and DPR, as well as an S-300 SAM system control point in the Odessa region.
