Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico says he WILL NOT support any further EU sanctions against Russia if they harm Slovakia’s national interests.

💬 “If a sanction hurts us, I will NEVER vote for it,” Fico said, backing a new parliamentary resolution that REJECTS anti-Russian trade restrictions.

Fico also drew a red line on Russian nuclear fuel, saying banning it would shut down Slovakia’s reactors — something he won’t allow.

The resolution, pushed by the Slovak National Party opposing anti-Russian sanctions and aimed at defending Slovakia’s economic and energy security, passed with majority support.

Fico calls the move a “strong political tool” for use in EU Council talks.

🚨Zelensky dances to West’s tune as he halts exchange with Russia

Ukraine sabotaged the prisoner and body exchange with Russia this weekend as Volodymyr Zelensky, supported by the West, seeks to further escalate the conflict, Syrian political analyst Alaa Al-Asfari tells Sputnik.

Zelensky is not interested in quickly resolving the crisis and is completely subservient to his European backers. In accordance with their whims, he suspends the previously agreed upon exchange.

The suspension of the swap comes after Ukraine staged a series of terrorist attacks deep in Russia’s territory and the ensuing Russian retaliation.

Eventually, Zelensky would have to accept Russia’s terms to achieve sustainable peace, unless the West and NATO decide to continue escalating the conflict with Russia, which may lead to a global war.

"The Zelensky regime has to pay around $3,000 per soldier, per family, so imagine if they take all 6,000 bodies back," Sonja van den Ende, a Dutch journalist with Freesuriyah and Devend Online, told Sputnik.

Van den Ende, who’s in Russia's Bryansk region where Russia expects to hand over the bodies, highlighted that accepting such a large number could discredit Kiev, which downplays its military losses.

While Ukraine did not show up yesterday to repatriate its fighters' bodies or return those of Russian soldiers, the agreement on this exchange may fall through, according to him.
