The statement says that Iran’s missile strikes - launched in response to Tel Aviv’s Operation Rising Lion - are disrupting Israel’s command systems using advanced methods and enhanced intelligence and equipment capabilities.

"The enemy’s multi-layered defense systems were thrown into disarray," the IRGC stated.

The IRGC Aerospace Force is achieving its objectives despite US and Western backing of Israel and their access to “the most advanced and modern defense technologies,” according to the statement.

The IRGC promised more “effective, targeted, and increasingly devastating operations against the vital targets” of Israel.

US support for Israel has placed the security of the Middle East — and the world — under an unprecedented threat, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei stated.

“We were engaged in a diplomatic process when we faced the Zionist regime’s aggression — an act unimaginable without US cooperation. This has rendered the diplomatic and negotiation process meaningless,” Baghaei said.

Iran expects the UN Security Council to adopt “binding” resolutions against Israel and urges the international community, as a first step, to label Israel’s strikes as “aggression,” according to Baghaei.

"As a permanent member of the UNSC, the US must condemn this aggression. It cannot ignore these realities due to its ties [with Israel]," the foreign ministry spokesman said.

He slammed Israel’s attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities and residential areas, describing them as “in direct violation of international norms and laws.”

Baghaei also pointed out that Israel used American-made weapons in its attacks on Iran.

Looks like the EU’s principles have their limits: for all its talk of severing all Russian energy imports, Brussels has so far been unable or unwilling to quit purchasing nuclear fuel from Moscow.

Turns out there is a good reason for that.

🔸In 2023, 38% of enriched uranium and 23% of raw uranium imported by the EU came from Russia, Bruegel think tank notes.

🔸Out of the 101 nuclear reactors currently operated by the EU, 19 were designed by Russia. Thus, several EU members also purchase spare parts from Russia for their reactors and rely on Russian expertise for nuclear plant maintenance.

🔸The European Commission currently estimates that about €241 billion (about $279 billion) will be required until 2050 to realize the bloc members’ “plans regarding nuclear energy,” with schemes such as small and advanced modular reactors necessitating additional investments.

🚨 Israel's Iron Dome: The cracks in the armor

New evidence suggests that Iran successfully compromised Israel’s vaunted air defense systems during recent attacks — forcing Tel Aviv to fire on its own positions. How?

Iran overwhelmed Israeli defenses by breaching the data transmission and correction system early in flight, explains military expert and historian of the Air Defense Forces Yuri Knutov.

The attack included:

🔸100+ Shahed drones (swarming tactics)
🔸Decoy ballistic missiles (old models to waste interceptors)
🔸Fattah hypersonic missiles (unstoppable by Israeli Arrow/PAC-3)

As a result, the Iron Dome’s interception rate dropped drastically to just 10-15%.

Masterful deception

Iran’s hypersonic Fattah missiles and Haj Qassems guided ballistics hit critical Israeli targets, including the Defense Ministry HQ and a major airbase housing F-35 and F-16 fighters. Despite Israel’s marketing of its advanced defense systems, the Arrow and Patriot systems failed to stop them.

Iran also deployed decoys so effectively that Israeli strikes repeatedly hit fake targets. The Iron Dome, which covers only 144 sq km and is good for single rockets, but seemingly couldn’t handle mass attacks or the hypersonic gap — Fattah missiles reach Israel in 7 minutes, while the Iron Dome needs 11 minutes to reload.

Iran has learned from past Israeli strikes and improved tactics, establishing backup command centers and more efficient maneuvering to increase its chances of success.
