At SPIEF 2025, President Vladimir Putin warned that Ukrainian troops cannot operate German-made Taurus missiles without the involvement of German officers.

💬 “The use of Taurus missiles in Ukraine would mean Germany’s direct entry into an armed conflict with Russia — it cannot be called anything else,” he said, adding that such a move would severely damage Russia-Germany relations, though it “will not affect the course of the military operation.”

🪖 Putin emphasized that Russian forces are advancing along the entire front line and that further progress is INEVITABLE — even if German missiles are introduced.

Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed allegations that Russia is planning to attack Europe or NATO as a “blatant lie” and “complete nonsense,” saying they are meant to mislead Western public opinion.

💬 “This myth that Russia will attack Europe or NATO countries is a blatant lie being pushed to convince people in the West. But we fully understand it’s just nonsense,” Putin said during a meeting with international news agency heads on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

🔸 He added that European politicians are deceiving their citizens with the so-called “Russian threat” to deflect from their own domestic failures.

💬 “Everyone understands this so-called threat is nonsense. They are misleading their people to squeeze more money from the budget… and to cover up their failures in the economic and social spheres,” he said.
