🔫 Texas House passes Constitutional Carry bill The seven-hour debate ended with the passage of a bill eliminating training and background check requirements for carrying a gun. Now the bill goes to the Texas State Senate. The "Constitutional Carry" bill…
🖋 A measure allowing Texans to carry a firearm without a license is on the brink of becoming law after the state Senate approved the bill, sending it to @Greg_Abbott , who has pledged to sign the Republican-championed legislation
💭 Speaking of harassers, Senate Republican Leader Rob Ortt, a veteran, has demanded an apology from scandal-plagued New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo after the latter called on the public to honor COVID-19 frontline workers on Memorial Day, a federal holiday traditionally reserved to commemorate fallen military servicemembers.

🗣 "I know apologies and contrition don’t come easy to him, but this is one area where it should. That is the right thing to clarify that this was a gross misstep," Ortt said

Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America

This is a continuation of the greatest Witch Hunt in American history. It began the day I came down the escalator in Trump Tower, and it’s never stopped. They wasted two years and $48 million in taxpayer dollars on Mueller and Russia Russia Russia, Impeachment Hoax #1, Impeachment Hoax #2, and it continues to this day, with illegally leaked confidential information.

No other President in history has had to put up with what I have had to, and on top of all that, I have done a great job for our Country, whether it’s taxes, regulations, our Military, Veterans, Space Force, our Borders, speedy creation of a great vaccine (said to be a miracle!), and protecting the Second Amendment.

This is purely political, and an affront to the almost 75 million voters who supported me in the Presidential Election, and it’s being driven by highly partisan Democrat prosecutors.

New York City and State are suffering the highest crime rates in their history, and instead of going after murderers, drug dealers, human traffickers, and others, they come after Donald Trump.

Interesting that today a poll came out indicating I’m far in the lead for the Republican Presidential Primary and the General Election in 2024.

Our Country is broken, our elections are rigged, corrupt, and stolen, our prosecutors are politicized, and I will just have to keep on fighting like I have been for the last five years!
🤔 Perhaps the New York Times thought no one was paying attention but...

Many did in fact notice that the newspaper quietly updated the headline of a piece published by left-wing columnist Michelle Goldberg that initially called the recent uptick in anti-Semitic attacks "a gift to the Right."
👏 Fox Nation host Tomi Laren praised @RonDeSantisChannel for signing State Senate Bill 7072, which partially prohibits social media companies from deliberately rejecting political candidates.

🗣 "This bill might sound like it’s for conservatives but it’s for everybody, just so happens it’s us conservatives that fight this censorship uphill battle the hardest and in the most obvious way," she said

🇺🇸🇷🇺Summit-level meetings of the American and Russian presidents should become a regular occurrence, following the upcoming Biden-Putin meeting in Geneva, former US State Department senior Foreign Service Officer Howard Stoffer told Sputnik.

"I think the world expects that Russia and the United States will be meeting at these, at the summit level, regularly. It's important for them to just see each other again as the leaders. And I think they should see each other regularly," Stoffer said.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence tweeted a photo of an OnlyFans star Tiffany Poindexter – but realised the mistake only weeks after.

The awkward situation reportedly occurred back in April, when the agency posted a statement about the National Counterterrorism Centre. The posts featured two photos, one of which showed a large room with big screens - and on one of those screens, a picture of Tiffany Poindexter looking over her shoulder and smiling.

A big security threat, isn’t it?

📃 Attorney General Karl Racine is suing Amazon over allegations that the company is breaking the law by unfairly suppressing competition. The lawsuit, filed by the District of Columbia attorney general, joins recent government antitrust cases against Google and Facebook.

🗣We filed this antitrust lawsuit to put an end to Amazon’s illegal control of prices across the online retail market. We need a fair online marketplace that expands options available to District residents and promotes competition, innovation, and choice.”

Will any of these lawsuits against Big Tech manage to reduce the dominance of these companies?
