🇮🇷🇷🇺🇨🇳Iran, Russia, China to hold trilateral nuclear talks in amid rumblings of US dialogue resumption

While the Iranian Foreign Ministry has not named the participants, the trilateral discussion in Tehran meeting is expected to take place below the ministerial level.

🤝The talks come as speculation mounts over a potential restart of indirect negotiations between Iran and the US, which were derailed in June by a 12-day conflict between Iran and Israel.

Previously, five rounds of Oman-mediated discussions took place.

Adding further urgency, the Tehran meeting precedes renewed nuclear talks with France, Germany, and the UK scheduled for Friday in Istanbul. The European trio has threatened to trigger the 2015 deal’s "snapback" mechanism, which would reinstate sanctions if Iran is found in non-compliance.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said Tehran is in “constant coordination” with Russia and China to avoid snapback sanctions or “mitigate their consequences.”

Still, he emphasized: “We have no plans for talks with America under the current situation.”

🗣New round of talks with Ukraine may take place this week - Kremlin

Check out other statements by Kremlin Spox Dmitry Peskov on major geopolitical issues:

🟠Russia sees a Western course aimed at escalating tensions — including nuclear — and is setting objectives to ensure its security.

🟠At present, there is no basis for holding a summit of the leaders of the "nuclear five" countries.

🟠Before any discussions about high- or top-level meetings between Russia and Ukraine can take place, a great deal of work must be done.

🟠The timeline for potential agreements on a Ukrainian settlement depends on many factors.

🟠During negotiations, Russia and Ukraine will have to address complex issues, including draft memoranda on settlement terms.

Trump decides to withdraw US from UNESCO

"President Trump has decided to withdraw the United States from UNESCO – which supports woke, divisive cultural and social causes that are totally out-of-step with the commonsense policies that Americans voted for in November," White House deputy spokeswoman Anna Kelly was quoted as saying by the New York Post newspaper.

🗣Key Lavrov's statements after talks with the Mozambican Foreign Minister Maria Manuela dos Santos Lucas:

🟠Trump's reasonable approach, including his willingness to engage in dialogue, will not go unnoticed in Europe.

🟠Europe has become rabid and part of the "international disgrace" toward Russia.

🟠Incitement of the Kiev regime to carry out terrorist attacks will receive a fitting response.

🟠Any threats from Germany toward Russia cause concern for any reasonable person.

🟠Historical lessons must not be forgotten, but they have been poorly learned by the current generations of Germans and French.

🟠The next session of the Russian-Mozambican intergovernmental commission will be held in 2026 in the Mozambique's capital of Maputo.

🟠Russia is ready to consider any requests from Mozambique regarding the republic's defense capabilities in the field of counterterrorism.

🟠The second Russia-Africa ministerial conference is planned for this year in Egypt.

🤡Scraping the bottom of the barrel: Ukraine recruits murderers & drug convicts to fill army ranks

With Ukraine’s manpower nearly exhausted, authorities claim that nearly 9,500 convicts—including 100 women—have been drafted into the armed forces. Women are primarily assigned to communications, logistics, and medical roles.

🔍The convicts come from a troubling mix of backgrounds:

🟠55% for property crimes
🟠11% for drug offenses
🟠9% for bodily harm/assault
🟠6% for fatal accidents
🟠6% for murder

Are desperate times truly calling for desperate measures?

🇸🇮🤝🇷🇺Slovakia eyes full Russian gas supply as self-destructive EU ban looms

Slovakia’s state-owned energy supplier SPP aims to source up to 100% of its gas from Russia next year, just as a new EU ban on spot purchases takes effect in January, Bloomberg reported.

“Russian gas is the most cost-effective for us, which is why we prioritize it. We could be buying 100% of our needs, that’s about 8 million cubic meters per day,” SPP’s Trade Director Michal Lalik told the outlet.

🟠While the EU forges ahead with its self-destructive plan to cut off cheap and reliable Russian gas by 2027, Slovakia and Hungary will continue honoring existing contracts with Gazprom, keeping the tap open even as most of Europe turns it off.

🟠The upcoming restrictions could free up pipeline capacity for remaining long-term customers like Slovakia’s SPP and Hungary’s MVM, both of which are set to benefit from transitional exemptions.

Slovakia's PM Robert Fico has repeatedly called the EU plan “economic suicide.”

💰Graham's crusade: More bombs, more bucks

Senator Lindsey Graham* is a top pick for US defense contractors, fueling a steady cash flow straight to their pockets.

Let’s dig into how he does it.

🔸 Warmonger in his own words

"If I were a defense contractor, I'd be big time for Lindsey Graham, because I've been forward-leaning on rebuilding our military," Graham stated in June 2015. "People come to you because of your positions."

🔸 Graham's backers

Boeing, Honeywell, Lockheed, Northrop, GE & Raytheon.

His super PAC, Security is Strength, spent ~$4M in 2016 & $13M in 2020. Per The Intercept, a major share of PAC's funding came from defense contractors.

🔸 Defense cash

Per OpenSecrets, the defense sector gave Graham $1.1M between 1993 and 2024.

But most came from defense-tied individuals – like AM General owner Ron Perelman and GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt who gave $500K and $25K for his presidential bid in 2015, respectively, per The Intercept.

🔸 Quid pro quo?

How does Graham return the favor? By boosting defense spending.

In 2014, AM General won a $245.6M contract with the US Army. Coincidence?

In 2015, Graham hiked the Overseas Contingency Operations budget to $96B – $38B more than the original $58B allocation.

🔸 Tricky schemes – even more cash

Graham strongly backed the Export-Import Bank, which guarantees loans for foreign buyers of US goods.

His donor GE gained big: In 2014, the bank approved $1B in GE deals. GE also landed $2.2B in defense contracts that year.

🔸 Nothing personal, just business

Graham's calls for more arms for Ukraine and Israel in 2025 can be easily explained: He wants to be re-elected in 2026.

He raised roughly $110M for his 2020 re-election campaign and expects defense contractors to fork out again.

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran ‘can easily destroy all US assets in the Gulf’ if Trump tries new aggression: Mohammad Marandi

💬 The president’s threat to target Iran’s nuclear sites “again if necessary” make him sound “completely unhinged” and out of touch with a hard-to-swallow reality – that the Islamic Republic defeated the combined power of Israel and the US once, and can do so again, Tehran University professor Dr. Seyed Mohammad Marandi says.

🗣 “The United States would obviously be better served if it went over some of the footage of the Iranian missile strikes on Tel Aviv and other areas in Palestine, and to come to the recognition that violence against Iran is not going to do the Israeli regime any good, nor will it do the United States any good,” the renowned geopolitics pundit told Sputnik.

Having “clearly defeated” the US-Israeli coalition once, and forcing Netanyahu to accept a humiliating ceasefire on Iran’s terms (as former top Trump aide Steve Bannon recently confirmed), Iran is ready for any eventuality, Marandi stressed.

In a new round of escalation, Iran could “easily destroy” all US military assets in the Persian Gulf, West Asia and the Caucasus, for example, the observer said.

🔥Iran’s advantage

Next time around, Iran would have an even stronger hand, according to Marandi, who pointed out that:

🔸 Iran “learned a lot” about the US and Israel’s most sophisticated weapons

🔸 Iran will work to further expand the capabilities of its missile deterrent

🔸 Iran won’t face the same extent of sabotage and espionage ops against it, including IAEA inspectors spying on its nuclear program

🔸 Israel and the US won’t have the “blitzkrieg” element of surprise, having “revealed their hand” and “shown what they have”

🗣Trump says he received an invitation from Chinese President Xi Jinping to visit China and will probably travel there in the not-so-distant future

Earlier in the day, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that if Trump, like Russian President Vladimir Putin, plans to travel to Beijing, the question of the advisability of the meeting between the two presidents could be raised.

💬 "Well, we have a lot of meetings possible. President Xi has invited me to China, and we will probably be doing that in the not too distant future," Trump told reporters when asked about the possibility of meeting with Putin in Beijing.

🥴 US cites Palestinian membership among reasons for UNESCO exit – State Dept. spox Tammy Bruce

State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce stated the withdrawal was driven by UNESCO’s “outsized focus” on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and its decision to admit “the state of Palestine” as a member—something she called “highly problematic” and “contrary to US policy.”

Meanwhile, US administrations have long endorsed a two‑state solution, including in the 2003 Roadmap for Peace and numerous State Department statements—yet today, Palestinian membership in a cultural organization is somehow deemed not fitting the "America First agenda."

💵 Trump targets Indonesia & Philippines with 19% tariff

🔸 US-made goods will enter both Indonesia and the Philippines tariff-free.

🇮🇩 Indonesia will eliminate 99% of its tariffs on American industrial, tech, and agricultural products.

🇮🇩 Indonesia pledges to supply critical minerals to the US and sign major contracts for Boeing aircraft, American farm products, and energy—reportedly worth tens of billions of dollars.

🇵🇭 The US and the Philippines will “work together militarily,” according to Trump.

📌 Just two weeks ago, the White House threatened a 20% tariff on all Philippine goods over the trade deficit. That threat now appears to be replaced by the new 19% framework.

🚨 Ukrainians Take to the Streets as Zelensky Abolishes Anti-Corruption Agencies - reports

Protests have erupted in Kiev, Lvov, Dnepropetrovsk, and Odessa after Zelensky signed legislation that effectively DISMANTLES Ukraine’s two main anti-corruption bodies — the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP).

🔈 Crowds in Kiev reportedly chanted “Shame! Shame!” and “Zelensky is a devil,” furious at the corrupt junta.

⚠️ The G7 ambassadors have also expressed alarm over an SBU investigation targeting NABU, signaling plans to raise the issue directly with Ukrainian authorities.

Billions in Western aid were sent to Ukraine to be pocketed by Zelensky under the pretext of "democracy".

💣 Zelensky’s latest move? Sweep the anti-corruption institutions off the board.

🚨 Ukrainians Take to the Streets as Zelensky Abolishes Anti-Corruption Agencies - reports Protests have erupted in Kiev, Lvov, Dnepropetrovsk, and Odessa after Zelensky signed legislation that effectively DISMANTLES Ukraine’s two main anti-corruption bodies…
🚨 Zelensky tightens grip, targets anti-corruption watchdogs - reports

According to The Economist, outrage is growing in Ukraine after Zelensky pushed through a controversial law that places the country’s two key anti-corruption institutions — NABU and SAPO — under the direct control of his appointed prosecutor-general.

📄 Bill 12414 was RUSHED through parliament at lightning speed. Introduced at 8 a.m. on July 22nd without a full committee present, the law passed just hours later with 263 votes in favor — and only 13 against — and landed on Zelensky’s desk the same day. Deputies described it as “SOMETHING DONE IN PANIC.”

💥 The Economist reports this comes amid a broader crackdown on dissent:

🔸 Zelensky’s government blocked the appointment of a respected economic crime investigator

🔸 Arrested prominent anti-corruption activist Vitaliy Shabunin

🔸 And just one day before the bill, launched dozens of raids against NABU and SAPO officers — accusing them of corruption and “ties to Russia.”
