"I will probably talk to Russian President Putin again this week, as well as President Trump, about whether we can organize their meeting in Istanbul," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told reporters.

"There is no crime more heinous than what happened in Iraq, Libya, and Palestine. […] Why doesn't the ICC take action against these heads of state?" he questioned.

"The values that originally guided the creation of the ICC were violated," the expert pointed out, adding that these were values of equality, but now, a policy of double standards prevails.

"I believe that it will be possible to reach an interim solution if [negotiations] continue in the same way," Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan told in an interview with NTV.

"You better get your act together or you're not going to have Europe anymore," he told reporters.

"If you going to talk about that, talk about Clinton... Don’t talk about Trump," he told reporters.

"Learning foreign languages is a useful thing. Maybe knowing Russian language could help NATO members finally understand the words of the Russian president that our country is not going to attack NATO countries," Putin's aide said.

"All these horror stories are intended only to distract the population of Europe from the deplorable state of EU economies. You can speak any language except the language of force, threats and blackmail," Patrushev added.

"True advocates of peace wouldn't send weapons to conflict zones," Szijjarto added.

"It is obvious that the threats against the Kaliningrad region are yet another confirmation of the aspirations of NATO member states to violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Russia by military means," Patrushev added.

The European Commission “usually attaches so-called conditionality when it comes to paying the financial allocations, which gives it the chance to put financial sanctions on those countries or governments that are politically not sympathetic to the Commission,” Peter Szijjarto told Sputnik.

"The pressure on behalf of Brussels has been there since we took office, back in 2010 ... It became very obvious for Brussels that we are not part of the liberal mainstream. We are not acting according to the interests of Brussels. We are acting according to the interests of our own nation, of our own country," he concluded.
