President Donald Trump has reduced his previously stated 50-day ultimatum for Russia to reach a peace deal with Ukraine, bringing it down to 10 days.

💬 “Ten days from today. Okay? We have a scoop,” Trump said in response to a reporter’s question.

He added that the US would introduce “tariffs and stuff,” but acknowledged uncertainty about the outcome.

“I don’t know if it’s going to affect Russia… It may or may not affect them, but it could.”

Earlier, Trump had threatened to impose 100% tariffs on Russian imports and introduce secondary sanctions on countries purchasing Russian energy if NATO's proxy war continued.

During his visit to the US, Roscosmos Director General Dmitry Bakanov toured NASA’s Johnson Space Center and visited the Mission Control Center for the American segment of the the International Space Station (ISS) in Houston, the agency reported.

He also spoke with Russian flight control specialists stationed there as a backup team in case Moscow’s center becomes unavailable.

Bakanov later inspected ISS training simulators and met with Russian cosmonauts currently preparing for upcoming missions.

KVERT has issued an orange aviation alert due to the heightened activity and potential ash emissions, while preparing for possible lava flows.

Fortunately, no international flight routes pass over the Klyuchevsky area – a remote region on the Kamchatka Peninsula.

A tsunami wave measuring 3–4 meters was observed off Kamchatka’s coast, Russia’s Hydrometeorology Service (UGMS) confirmed, according to regional emergency minister Sergey Lebedev.

The quake reached a maximum magnitude of 8.5, which the Kamchatka branch of the Geophysical Service RAS called a “unique event” for the region. Aftershocks are expected to continue, though no stronger quakes are currently forecast.
