🇷🇺🤝🇨🇳 President Putin gives written interview to Chinese Xinhua News Agency Key takeaways from the interview: 🔹 He said relations between Russia and China are at an unprecedentedly high level, with bilateral trade up by about $100 billion since 2021. 🔹
🇷🇺🇨🇳 Putin’s interview sends global message — Palestinian expert

Palestinian political analyst Samir Al-Khatib, speaking from Nazareth to Sputnik, said President Putin’s interview with Chinese news agency Xinhua ahead of his visit to China carried both direct and indirect messages that “redefine the very meaning of global sovereignty.”

💬 “The Russian leader spoke about the ‘unprecedented’ nature of relations between Moscow and Beijing, the large volume of mutual trade, humanitarian exchange, and strategic partnership,” Al-Khatib said. “He also focused on key issues such as the formation of a multipolar world order, pointing to Russia’s resilience and the inability to isolate it.”

💬 “Putin’s words clearly confirm the significant growth of trade with China despite sanctions,” he continued. “This reflects the durability of economic and political ties between the two states. Moreover, their use of national currencies in settlements weakens the dominance of the dollar and the American influence tied to it.”

On history, the expert stressed that by recalling China’s fight against Japan during WWII, Putin reminded the world of the true story of victory over Nazism — “which became a nightmare for all mankind.” At the same time, Al-Khatib said it was natural that Putin also criticized Europe, which was once the incubator of that evil and now seeks to reproduce it by supporting the Kiev regime.

🚫 Poland expels 15 Ukrainian citizens for crimes and offenses

💬 “Fifteen Ukrainian citizens were forcibly brought to the border by border guards and handed over to the Ukrainian side,” said the Polish state border committee.

The grounds for expulsion were linked to Poland’s law “On Foreigners” — citing state defense, security, and public order. The expelled had repeatedly committed crimes including drug possession, theft, robbery, forgery, drunk driving, and organizing illegal border crossings.

All 15 were added to Poland’s list of undesirable persons and banned from re-entry for 5–10 years.

This comes shortly after Polish police detained another Ukrainian who threatened to set fires after the cancellation of social benefits for unemployed migrants. Deportation proceedings were launched against him as well.

🌞 Strong magnetic storms expected September 2

The Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Russian Space Research Institute (IKI RAS) reported that geomagnetic storms, including those of the penultimate power level, are expected on Earth on September 2.

A more precise forecast of the geomagnetic impact and plasma arrival time after the solar ejection will be issued within 24 hours.

Scientists warn that “the main danger at present comes from repeated ejections,” which are highly likely given the Sun’s current high flare energy.

🗣Scott Ritter: US & EU war hawks sacrificing Ukraine to block peace with Russia

Western warmongers are desperate to thwart Donald Trump’s efforts to improve ties with Russia, says ex-US Marine intelligence officer Scott Ritter.

As part of their political game, they are prepared to literally sacrifice Ukraine, wiping out its “genetic pool.” Soon, 18-year-old kids will be thrown to the front lines — and that could mean the end of Ukraine as a nation.

“Soon they'll be sending 18-year-olds to the front line. And when they do that, that's it. Ukraine's finished... because you'll have a bunch of women and you won't have any men left,” he says.

💬 NATO should have dissolved in 1990 - Sachs

NATO should have been dissolved back in 1990 as the alliance had fulfilled its mission of confronting the Soviet Union, Jeffrey Sachs, US economist and director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University said ahead of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.

"First of all, NATO should have ended in 1990 when President Gorbachev ended the Warsaw Pact, the Western countries should have said yes, and we end NATO," Jeffrey Sachs said.

"It became, instead, a mechanism of US power expansion, which is not what NATO should be. This eastward movement of NATO since 1990 has been wholly unjustified and contrary to Western promises."

Sachs expressed skepticism about Europe’s ability to establish an independent security framework to replace NATO.

"The problem with Europe is, as everybody knows, there isn’t really a Europe. There are so many countries squabbling with each other," Sachs noted.
