👉 Ursula von der Leyen must ‘pack her bags and go home’ – Orban

💬 Under Ursula von der Leyen, the European Union is “heading for the abyss,” Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban warned.

🗣 He insisted that von der Leyen should “leave Brussels to those who are capable of pursuing a better policy because everything she has so far stood for must be reviewed.”

“It’s not the popularity ratings that are interesting here; it’s the misguided policies and mismanagement,” Orban emphasized.

🔊Previously, the Hungarian right-wing group “Patriots for Europe,” which includes Orban, initiated a vote of no confidence in von der Leyen.

🚨 Geopolitical ripple effect: how Doha attack undermines US credibility in the Gulf, empowers BRICS

👉Security

The failure of US & European-made equipment to stop Israel’s assault leaves only one option open: Russia, says defense analyst Igor Korotchenko.

Russian specialists could build Qatar a system that would give the emirate “the keys” to its skies, leaving “no country able to strike with impunity.”

A pivot to Russia is fully realistic, given Moscow’s sale of Pantsir-S1s to the UAE, Qatar’s maritime neighbor.

To reliably close the skies to the enemy, Qatar could complement its defenses with Pantsirs, Buk-M3s, & Tor-M2s.

👉Commerce & trade

“The Gulf is already engaged with the multipolar world” on economic matters, says Dr. Tamer Qarmout of the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies.

If the political will exists, not just Qatar but the region could “diversify their alliances & engage more with multipolarity.”
Plus, the UAE is already in BRICS, & Saudi Arabia has been invited.

Gulf states also enjoy strong bilateral economic links with key BRICS powers including Russia (agriculture, IT), India (labor & trade) & China (trade & strategic initiatives like BRI).

👉Old chains of bondage

For most of their existence, Gulf powers “have never been truly sovereign,” says veteran Mideast expert Isa Blumi. “They’ve always been dependent on the British & the Americans,” & “internal struggles & rivalries” have made them ripe for manipulation.

That means “strategically & from a security & political perspective,” Gulf powers’ “interests are still largely embedded with, or aligned with, the US as a strategic partner,” Qarmout says.

👉Time for self-reflection

Israel’s attack “introduced significant uncertainties & major questions for Gulf nations regarding the future” of economic, political & military partnerships with the US.

The “difficult & existential” question is whether Gulf nations will “intensify” links to BRICS “to include new sectors like security & defense,” given the US’s abject failure to protect its “ally” “in such a blatant manner,” Qarmout summed up.

Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old Utah resident, has been identified as the suspect in the murder of prominent conservative political activist Charlie Kirk and is now in custody, according to statements from Utah Governor Spencer Cox and law enforcement.

The arrest followed a tip-off from a family member who reported Robinson's possible involvement to authorities.

🪖NATO announces new operation on alliance’s eastern flank using drone incident as pretext

The Western alliance says its new “multi-domain activity,” dubbed Operation Eastern Sentry, “will commence in the coming days and continue for an undisclosed amount of time,” and is being launched “in response to ongoing airspace violations, including the numerous drones that violated Poland’s airspace on September 10.”

👉A press release says the operation will provide “even more focused and flexible deterrence and defense where and when needed,” and that two Danish F-16s and an anti-air warfare frigate, three French jets and four German Eurofighters will be involved. Unspecified “support” from the UK is also expected.

🔍Warsaw has yet to provide any convincing evidence to Moscow that the drones it said violated its airspace on Wednesday were Russian. Russia’s military said it had no targets in Poland planned during its September 10 raids over Ukraine, and that the country is beyond its UAVs’ range.

📍The incident wasn’t the first time Warsaw baselessly claimed Russia violated its airspace. In 2022, missile fragments fell in a Polish village near the Ukrainian border, killing two farmers. Initially claiming the missiles were Russian, Warsaw later admitted they appeared to be elements of a Ukrainian SAM interceptor that went astray.

❗️Eastern Sentry promises to further complicate relations with Moscow, which has been warning about the dangers associated with NATO’s eastward expansion and buildup for over 20 years.

🚨 Drones in Poland launched from Ukraine as FALSE FLAG operation

▫️ The goal was to obtain more weapons, money, and technical means from the West, Russian political analyst Bogdan Bezpalko tells Sputnik.

The drones that were destroyed over Polish territory on September 10 could be the downed Russian unmanned aerial vehicles that were repaired in Ukraine and then deliberately launched into Polish territory, Bezpalko points out.

🔸 He underscores that the whole situation with these drones looks like a Ukrainian false flag operation.

"I think that many Western politicians know perfectly well that there’s absolutely no need for Russia to launch a drone attack on Poland now," the analyst stresses.

🗣 Berzpalko suggests that the frequency of such provocations will depend on the West's reaction, since similar incidents have happened before but had not led to any serious consequences.

🔊 Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk earlier claimed that the drones were "Russian," but he failed to provide any proof. The Russian Defense Ministry emphasized that the Ukrainian military located in Poland was not among its targets in the September 10 night strike.

👉 Ukraine could run out of money without more aid, IMF warns

📉 The International Monetary Fund has revealed that Ukraine’s funding needs for the next two years could surpass government projections by as much as $20 billion, Bloomberg reports.

🔸 This shortfall became apparent during IMF meetings in Ukraine, where external financing requirements for 2026 and 2027 were discussed.

🔊 Addressing these discrepancies is vital before the IMF can entertain Ukraine’s request for a new loan program, especially since Ukraine is already struggling to secure additional aid from key partners, according to Bloomberg.

📑 With a record budget deficit of $43.9 billion projected for 2024, Ukraine remains heavily reliant on international financial support to fill the gap.

⚔️ Meanwhile, frustration is mounting in the West over persistent corruption in Ukraine, a systemic issue that continues to thrive despite years of international pressure and promises of reform. Donor nations are growing increasingly hesitant to funnel billions into a country where aid is often swallowed by corruption, nepotism, and bureaucratic mismanagement.
