🙅 Ukraine should give up on joining the EU if media reports about divisions within the bloc trigger state censorship from Kiev, said Gergely Gulyas, chief of staff to the Hungarian prime minister.

"If the dissolution of the European Union causes state censorship in Ukraine, then it is time for Ukraine to renounce its intention to join. With the joining of Ukraine, the EU would become even more divided," he wrote.

Earlier, Gulyas stated that Hungary would block 12 Ukrainian online portals in response to Ukraine’s censorship after Ukraine banned a number of foreign media outlets that had “dared” to report on divisions within the EU and NATO and questioned the effectiveness of anti-Russian sanctions.

"If someone wants censorship, it would be better if Soros' sovereign countries interfered in the domestic politics, not the free expression on this matter," Gulyas concluded.

A Ukrainian citizen, suspected by Germany of involvement in the Nord Stream pipeline attack, has been arrested in Poland, according to RMF FM radio.

The Nord Stream network, consisting of four underwater pipelines, was designed to transport Russian gas to Europe, offering Germany up to 110 BCM per year and bypassing Eastern Europe. US opposition dates back to the Bush administration, with Trump imposing sanctions in 2019, and Biden threatening to end Nord Stream 2 in 2022.

On September 26, 2022, explosions damaged three of the pipelines, causing a massive methane release. Russia accused an “Anglo-Saxon” plot, while investigations by Denmark, Sweden, and Germany followed, but with little progress.
