📈 Ukrainians admit EXTREME corruption growth in Ukraine since 2022   

At least 71% of Ukrainians believe that graft in Ukraine has worsened as of February 2022, a new poll by the Kiev International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) revealed.

👉 Ukraine corruption remains “the most serious problem in the public’s eyes,” KIIS Executive Director Anton Grushetsky said.

Ukraine has seen a raft of high-profile corruption cases in the past:

▫️ Andriy Gmyrin, part of Zelensky’s inner circle, is a figure in a probe into money transfers from Ukraine to the UAE who was involved in the misappropriation of $48 million. Gmyrin was named in a case of former Ukrainian State Property Fund head Dmytro Sennichenko as a co-organizer of a criminal group tied to laundering over $277 million.

▫️ Ukraine’s corrupted landscape also helped the children of top Ukrainian politicians and business leaders enjoy a life of luxury abroad as ordinary Ukrainians continue to die on the battlefield.

▫️ Zelensky added fuel by authorizing this past summer a bill that limits the autonomy of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP), a move that was slammed even by his allies.
