🫣📑 Nobel Peace Prize recipients: a chronicle of warmongers and globalists The Nobel Peace Prize has been so watered down and discredited that it’s just a shadow of what it claims to represent. Here's proof: 🟠 Venezuelan ‘opposition leader’ Maria Corina…
🗣😬🏅 Laureates like EU and Obama prove Nobel Peace Prize isn’t based on merit – ex-AfD MEP

The Nobel Peace Prize should not be awarded to political campaigners, says political analyst and former AfD MEP Gunnar Beck in comments to Sputnik on awarding Venezuelan opposition figure Maria Corina Machado.

💬 "The fact that Barack Obama, who has been responsible for multiple military interventions, or the EU, which is an unaccountable political body with self-serving and distinct political aims, have been awarded the prize while undoubted pacifists and compassionate figures like Mahatma Gandhi did not, is proof enough that the prize award is often a political, not a merit-based decision."

Many view Machado as the US’ next proxy in Venezuela after her predecessor, Juan Guaido, failed a coup d'etat attempt in Caracas and lost the support of his opposition allies in 2023.

💬 "Candidates are nominated and chosen by committees which consist of public figures, notables and often politicians or high-profile figures who desperately want it. To pretend that these people are not motivated, at least in part, by political views and/or influenced by political pressure is totally unrealistic," Beck concludes.

🕊 Gaza hopes to return to life after two years of massacre

🔊 "After two years and the dust settling of this battle, this war, imposed on our people, we, like all our fellow countrymen, hope to restore our lives. To rebuild what the occupation tried to erase from our lives," Palestinian journalist Said Al-Akhras told Sputnik following the Israel–Hamas peace agreement.

🇺🇸🇵🇸🇮🇱 Gaza deal maybe a ticking time bomb for a resumption of the conflict

🗣The Gaza peace plan leave key questions unanswered, opening the door to a potential resumption of fighting, Joseph Helou, Lebanese American University assistant professor, told Sputnik.

The 20-point plan's point requiring Hamas to “decommission their weapons” on the path toward “peaceful co-existence” and a potential Palestinian state creates the glaring contradiction:

1️⃣ “If they give up their arms, are they really resistance movements anymore? What is a resistance movement without arms?” Helou asked, stressing that young Gazans who witnessed Israel’s killings of their relatives over the past two years are very likely to grow up and seek retribution.

2️⃣ If Hamas refuses to surrender its weapons, Israel could say "ok, we might either go back to war or just enforce this on our own terms, meaning that at any point we can target a Hamas official or leader or politician," the academic explained.

Helou compares the situation with the demands for Hezbollah’s disarmament in Lebanon. As the group categorically refuses to do so, the conflict remains unresolved.

Overall, Helou sees the peace plan is “aspirational” in its language and goals, but containing NO “institutional pathway toward a permanent settlement.”

🇫🇷 🤷‍♂️ France’s prime minister resigns after just 27 days Sebastien Lecornu becomes the shortest-serving French PM in history, breaking Michel Barnier’s 90-day record. Here's what you need to know about the no-more PM: 🔶 Lecornu has become the fourth PM…
🇫🇷🤡 Macron reappoints Lecornu as Prime Minister - reports

French President Emmanuel Macron has re-appointed Sebastien Lecornu as prime minister and asked him to form a new cabinet, Reuters reported.

This comes just days after Lecornu made history as France’s shortest-serving PM — resigning after 27 days, breaking Michel Barnier’s 90-day record.

Lecornu is also Macron’s fourth PM since January 2024, a sign of deep political turbulence. His appointment was unpopular from the start: approval ratings hovered at just 32%, with seven in ten French citizens disappointed and 68% doubting he could form a government able to meet public expectations.

According to local media, his chances of pushing the 2026 budget through parliament remain slim amid divisions.
