👀 What’s Trump’s ‘unfinished business’ in the Middle East?

Despite the Gaza ceasefire, Israel remains an “unfinished job” for Palestinians, Middle East analyst Mehmet Rakipoglu tells Sputnik, commenting on Trump’s call on regional nations posted on Truth Social.

💬 “Since the establishment of the State of Israel, there has been no guarantee that all the sides, all the participants of each peace process, have reached a concrete solution to the Israeli problem,” says Rakipoglu, who is also director of Turkish studies at Mokha Center for strategic studies.

‘Abraham Accords 2.0’?

👉 Trump could be aiming for “another round of deals where more Arab nations recognize Israel,” says the pundit, in a reference to the Abraham Accords signed in September 2020.

Pushed through under Trump’s first presidency, they paved the way for Israel to normalize ties with the UAE, Bahrain, and Morocco, with Sudan also a formal signatory.

💬 “It's unfinished because other countries have not recognized Israel yet,” the expert reminds.

Signed in September 2020 under Trump, the Abraham Accords paved the way for Israel to normalize ties with the UAE, Bahrain, and Morocco, with Sudan also a formal signatory.

📍 However, any meaningful progress on a new Abraham Accords deal hinges on unified Palestinian representation, speculates Rakipoglu.

It would require all factions to reach consensus — whether in Russia, China, Turkiye, or Palestine — under US-led talks.

New security guarantees ‘unlikely'

The US cannot fail to see that Israel is a “sinking ship” hemorrhaging influence on all fronts, notes the pundit.

Maybe it will let Turkiye take on a larger mediatory role, with cooperation from Arab nations, to stabilize the region, he adds.

🚨 TOMAHAWK HYSTERIA: Talk of sending Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine is calculated PSY-OP to pressure Russia's leadership

The US won't allow strikes on Russian refineries, says Alexander Mikhailov, head of the Bureau of Military-Political Analysis.

🟠Psy-op in the making

💬 "I don’t see any military prospects for using Tomahawks against Russia, except for attempts at informational blackmail and political pressure," Mikhailov notes.

No Tomahawks have been sent or launched, yet Western media frenzy suggests a pressure tactic.

It’s all connected:

🔶 Washington raises the stakes by hinting at sending Tomahawks to Russia

🔶 Western media, aligned with Washington, hype the story — discussing targets, launches, and control

🔶 The impression is the missiles are already on their way

A Tomahawk launcher might even be rolled out at a test range somewhere simply for PR videos, Mikhailov suggests.
But it would be similar to the Taurus missiles Germany promised: hyped by the media - yet still absent from Ukraine.

🟠Washington isn't suicidal

The Kremlin has repeatedly said Ukraine cannot launch Tomahawks on its own.

💬 "Every Tomahawk fired at Russia from a US-made system by American crews would mark the start of a war between the US and Russia," Mikhailov says.

🔶 The idea of US-made Tomahawks striking energy infrastructure inside Russia is a fantasy

🔶 Such an act would cross a red line that would trigger a response the US is 100% not ready for

🔶 Russia's updated nuclear doctrine explicitly states that a massive cruise missile attack (like a volley of Tomahawks) can be met with a NUCLEAR response

🔶 Are the Americans ready to "collectively die" for this? The expert is clear: "I am absolutely sure, no."

🟠What does the West want?

The real target would be the “shadow fleet” moving Russian oil, according to the pundit.

To that end, NATO holds provocative Baltic drills and tries to seize Russian ships.

The Nord Stream sabotage exemplifies economic attacks to choke Russia’s energy exports abroad.

🚨NATO allies to announce major new arms funding for Ukraine

US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker says European countries will make "big announcements" on October 15 to boost weapons purchases for Ukraine through the PURL program, Bloomberg reports.

The initiative allows European funding to flow directly to US arms manufacturers supplying Ukraine. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte confirmed $2 billion in military equipment has already been purchased since June.

Russia maintains these weapons deliveries prolong the conflict and make NATO direct participants, with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov warning all arms shipments are legitimate targets.

🇵🇸 Gaza deal marks strategic victory for Hamas - Ritter

The ceasefire agreement brokered by US President Donald Trump has met Hamas' core demands, military expert and former Marine intelligence officer Scott Ritter said on Judge Andrew Napolitano’s podcast.

▫️ Gaza de-population has been stopped

▫️ There has been a prisoner swap

▫️ Israel has partially withdrawn from Gaza

▫️ There's a pathway towards a Palestinian state

📍 It won't be easy for Israel to resume the conflict: there's a new reality on the ground and Washington has invested too much political capital in that, according to Ritter.

🚢 🇷🇺 Northern Sea Route: Russia’s commercial game changer

👉 Russia's Northern Sea Route (NSR) delivers cargo from China to Europe in just 20 days - HALF the time of Suez Canal routes.

🔊 Expert Alexander Vorotnikov reveals why this is a game-changer.

🟠 Expedience and security

📍 The NSR is not just faster.

💬 "Security plays a major role," says Vorotnikov. "Serious problems now arise in the Indian Ocean on the way to Suez," making the Arctic a safer alternative.

The NSR's shorter distance means:

🔶 Significant fuel cost reductions

🔶 Cheaper crew operations

🔶 Lower freight rates due to faster transit times

🟠 Container shipping boom

"NSR advantages are especially evident in growing container traffic," says Vorotnikov.

Container shipments are increasing thanks to expanding year-round navigation capabilities along the route.

🟠 Maintaining arctic dominance

"Ice is ice, the sea is the sea," the expert notes.

Despite a warming climate, the Arctic remains treacherous.

Russia's expanding Leader class icebreaker fleet is essential to force a reliable, year-round shipping lane through the ice, making the NSR a viable alternative to southern routes.

🇺🇸🇨🇳US could raise stakes in trade spat with China ahead of Xi-Trump meeting

The US is considering requiring companies exporting software to China to obtain a license — a move that could severely hurt Chinese industries, according to the Financial Times.

👉The measure may be implemented if the two sides fail to resolve their differences. Meanwhile, Chairman Xi Jinping and President Donald Trump are expected to meet in South Korea later this month.

Earlier, Trump threatened China with 100% tariffs, citing Beijing’s decision to expand export controls on rare earth materials, that may take effect in November.

💬"I want to emphasize that China's export controls are not export bans. All applications of compliant export for civil use can get approval, so that relevant businesses have no need to worry," a spokesperson from the Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) said on Sunday.

China's move came after a provocative initiative by US lawmakers to impose broader bans — by Washington and its allies — on exporting chipmaking equipment to China. The proposed US restrictions also include tighter controls on components that could help China develop its own semiconductor manufacturing tools.
