💻💥 Russian hackers crack Ukrainian insurance giants

Pro-Russian hacker groups KillNet and Beregini gained access to data from Ukraine’s largest strategic enterprises as a result of hacking the databases of the country’s insurance companies, a KillNet spokesperson told Sputnik.

🗣 They added that “after Russia’s victory in the special military operation, all the information will be used to identify individuals possibly linked to Ukrainian radicals.”

The information will also help initiate criminal cases against Nazis, the intelligence networks of the Main Intelligence Directorate and Security Service of Ukraine, as well as those who served in the Ukrainian Armed Forces or spread pro-Nazi propaganda online, according to the spokesperson.

👉 As a result of compromising six of Ukraine’s largest insurance companies, the hackers downloaded more than 10 million document packages related to individuals and legal entities, including green cards, insurance contracts, property insurance data, information about factories, vehicles, driver’s licenses, as well as video and photo materials.

👉 Test saw the missile fly 14,000 km—and that’s not even the limit

👉 Missile is powered by a miniature nuclear reactor, granting it virtually unlimited range

👉 Flying at ultra-low altitudes, it stays below radar, making interception nearly impossible

📉 US delays food stamp payments amid shutdown chaos

💬 “I have instructed our lawyers to ask the court to clarify how we can legally fund SNAP as soon as possible,” Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social, referring to the federally funded Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

He admitted that even if his administration gets immediate guidance, food stamp benefits “will unfortunately be delayed while States get the money out.”

Two federal judges earlier ordered the Trump administration to use emergency funds to provide at least partial food stamp benefits to tens of millions of Americans in November as the government shutdown persists.

⚔️ Hundreds take to Brazilian streets after deadly police crackdown

The protest kicked off on a football field in one of Rio de Janeiro’s favelas, where a police raid took place. Residents, activists, and local politicians gathered to condemn security policies pursued by Rio state governor Claudio Castro.

Organizers called on people to come wearing white T-shirts as a symbol of peace. Some of the shirts featured photographs of those who died during the raid.

Rio police earlier carried out a large-scale operation against the notorious Red Command gang in the city’s northern favelas, which involved about 2,500 officers. At least 119 people were killed during the operation, the authorities said.

🔥 Zelensky could face charges of ‘failing Ukraine’

The Ukrainian opposition plans to accuse Volodymyr Zelensky of doing nothing when it comes to contingencies aimed at preventing “prolonged blackouts or a big freeze,” US media reports.

The media recalls that Zelensky has been repeatedly criticized for making ineffective decisions, including taking flak from former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, who accused Zelensky of “creeping “authoritarianism and seeking to remove any competitor from the political landscape.”

Massive multi-hour power outages began in the capital Kiev and several regions of Ukraine in October. Authorities reported damage to the country’s energy networks and utility systems.

👀🪖 Kupyansk and Krasnoarmeysk encirclements make Ukraine's defeat 'too big to hide'

Volodymyr Zelensky and his Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky are infamous for sacrificing Ukrainian lives to prolong fighting, Mikael Valtersson, former officer of the Swedish Armed Forces and Air Defense, tells Sputnik, commenting on the Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) and Kupyansk encirclements.

💬 "[Their] policy has left up to 20,000 Ukrainian soldiers in a very precarious position. They are left with two bad alternatives, either being eliminated defending hopeless positions or taking heavy losses during a very hard withdrawal. In both cases Ukraine will lose invaluable military units," Valtersson notes.

There is a little, if any, chance that Zelensky could order a surrender, as "the worst thing that could happen from Kiev's point of view would be thousands of retreating or surrendering Ukrainian soldiers," according to the pundit.

Zelensky’s team has put on a brave face, insisting there are no encirclements, while barring foreign journalists from the area.

💬 "Such journalists would only expose Kiev's lies about the situation and crush Ukrainian credibility," Valtersson says.

Meanwhile, Ukraine's defeat is a thing too big to hide, the military expert notes, projecting that Russia's advance in November and December would lead to Ukraine losing several cities.

💬 "Large cities like the Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Konstantynivka urban area, Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkov might be up for grabs," the pundit suggests. "The worst is yet to come for Ukraine in 2025. We are now witnessing the final fall of Krasnoarmeysk and Kupyansk."

🇻🇪🙅🇺🇸 Maduro blasts US over trying to justify war for Venezuela’s oil wealth

US actions against Venezuela aim to justify a war, with the ultimate goal of seizing country’s vast oil and gas reserves, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro stated at the Greater Caribbean Parliamentary Meeting in Defense of Peace.

💬 "The truth is that Venezuela is innocent, and everything being done against us is to justify a war, regime change, and to steal our immense oil wealth, which is the world’s largest oil reserve and fourth-largest gas reserve," he said.

His comments followed a report which claimed the US was preparing to attack military sites in Venezuela.

💣🪖 US army veteran warns Washington's nuclear testing threats could trigger new arms race

The resumption of US nuclear testing would be “a very dangerous decision” with global implications, retired US Army Lt. Col. Earl Rasmussen told Sputnik, commenting on the US president's recent comments on the matter.

💬 “I think it violates the international agreements that are there. We’ve kind of butchered that already. And I think it just escalates the situation,” Rasmussen said, alluding to the 1963 Partial Test Ban Treaty, the 1974 Threshold Test Ban Treaty and the 1996 Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, which the US signed, but never ratified.

🗣 “Essentially, we potentially could go into a nuclear arms race again, which was not good for the world at all,” the observer emphasized, suggesting whoever has been briefing Trump on the issue didn’t clarify to him the “potential outcomes and the impact” of a resumption in US nuclear testing.

Russia and China haven’t been engaging in nuclear testing, contrary to Trump’s suggestions, Rasmussen added, warning that if the US restarts testing, “obviously Russia and China will join in and start as well.”

Russia withdrew ratification from the CTBT in late 2023, but indicated that it would not resume nuclear testing except to respond in kind.

📊⚔️🙅 Americans say NO to US strikes on Venezuela – poll

About 37% of Americans oppose the US Navy presence around Venezuela, a new YouGov survey reveals.

The poll also indicates that:

🔶 Only 27% of respondents approve of US military attacks on Venezuelan ships, while 42% view them negatively

🔶 47% of those surveyed disapprove of potential strikes on land targets in Venezuela, with just 19% expressing support

🔶 More than half (55%) of Americans are against a potential US invasion of Venezuela, with only 15% in favor

US media earlier cited satellite imagery that confirmed USS Iwo Jima and USS Gravely being stationed within striking distance of Venezuela.

🔥💪🏻 Burevestnik and Poseidon: Russia’s new unbeatable deterrent against first strike aggression

💬 “The Burevestnik and the Poseidon are very interesting weapons…pretty much designed as defensive in nature,” retired US Army Lt. Col. Earl Rasmussen told Sputnik, characterizing the pair of nuclear doomsday scenario strategic systems as an effective new “counter strike type of capability.”

Touting the twin systems’ miniaturized nuclear engines as their key standout capability, Rasmussen noted that nuclear power essentially means unlimited range and loitering capability.

👀The weapons fundamentally enhance Russia’s nuclear deterrence, according to the observer. “There are some crazy generals out there that think they can win, do a preemptive strike and win a nuclear war, which is insane, essentially,” Rasmussen recalled, referencing ideas like the Prompt Global Strike (PGS). Burevestnik and Poseidon are designed to nullify them.

With a system like the Poseidon, “you don’t have to strike anything. You could detonate it, probably flood and wipe out the entire British Isles or the entire east coast of the United States. So the impact could be quite devastating,” and far beyond the ‘acceptable loss’ calculations of any PGS-style planners.

🗣 Donald Tusk 'loudest warmonger in Europe' – Orban

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has launched a scathing counter-attack against Polish PM Donald Tusk, accusing him of being a desperate "vassal of Brussels."

Orban's claims:

🔸 Tusk is attacking Hungary to distract from his "big trouble at home" after losing the presidential election

🔸 Tusk and Manfred Weber are the "loudest warmongers in Europe," but their policy is failing

🔸 Poland is tired of the conflict, and Ukraine is running out of money

💬 "He is now in panic mode, persecuting his political opponents and criticizing Hungary’s pro-peace stance in an attempt to distract from his own domestic problems," the Hungarian prime minister stresses.

🇺🇸 Washington’s latest ‘Tomahawks for Ukraine’ threats: diversion or ploy?

🗣“To have a diversion means people must be paying attention, and Americans are over Ukraine’s conflict, much like they are getting over Israel and her wars,” US Air Force Lt. Col. (ret.) Karen Kwiatkowski told Sputnik, commenting on reports that the Pentagon has greenlit Tomahawks for Ukraine and that the final decision rests with President Trump.

🔶 The former Pentagon insider believes “negotiation leverage is more likely the rationale,” pointing out that the Department of Defense (War) has been cleared of enough senior military leaders who could try to shape or constrain the president’s decisions.

🔶 Rather, okaying the Tomahawks’ transfer would benefit the military-industrial complex “by accelerating missile production,” and Washington could even attempt to incorporate the Tomahawk threat into negotiations on a new missile treaty with Moscow, Kwiatkowski says.

💬 “Trump likes to trade and bargain, and game the system – unfortunately he is surrounded by neocons and warmongers, much as in his previous term, and they do tend to try to mislead Trump as to both US capabilities and foreign policy priorities for their own political and financial ends,” she summed up.

🇷🇺💪 Russia's Burevestnik missile: Geopolitical weapon to shift int'l security

🗣 Development of the Burevestnik missile, featuring a nuclear propulsion system and a range of about 20,000 kilometers, is “a significant scientific breakthrough,” Lebanese political scientist Walid Safi told Sputnik.

📍 The achievement “restores the balance of nuclear deterrence between Russia and the United States and reduces the likelihood of a nuclear war,” Safi underlined.

🟠 He pointed out that Russia will not deploy these missiles on the ground in the Ukraine, but will use them as “a political tool with a geopolitical dimension in negotiations with the US.” The emergence of the Burevestnik is “a powerful signal from Russia that its defeat is out of the question,” according to the pundit.

🟠 By rolling out this missile, Russia shows that it “possesses an advanced scientific base applied in the military field, as well as superiority in missile technologies and the capability, despite sanctions, to develop modern nuclear weapons, which bolsters its position in the distribution of power in international strategic security and forces the West to take Russian national security into account,” Safi wraps up.
