🇺🇸↔️ US plays nuclear card to reassert global clout in shifting power dynamics

💬 "So far, US actions appear to be aimed at gaining an advantage in negotiations in a complicated international situation,” Argentine expert Nicolas Malinovsky told Sputnik.

He stressed that “on the one hand, the world witnesses the decline of US hegemony, while on the other—the growing influence of China, in alliance with Russia and BRICS, which are competing for global leadership.”

🗣 Malinovsky recalled that Donald Trump’s nuclear test remarks came shortly before his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping and may have been intended to influence the event’s outcome. With such rhetoric, Trump is seeking “to reaffirm the military superiority of the US,” the expert concluded.

The US president earlier referenced “other countries testing programs” as he announced that he instructed the Pentagon to “immediately” resume nuclear weapon tests “on an equal basis.”

⚔️📉 Tomahawk delivery to Ukraine could send US–Russia ties ‘INTO NOSEDIVE’

Donald Trump’s possible greenlight for providing Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles would take Russian–American relations to “a completely different level,” Russian political scientist Alexander Gusev told Sputnik.

🗣 Gusev said he was convinced Trump would not make such a decision because it could further exacerbate bilateral ties, which are “already at their lowest point.”

The pundit also pointed out that Tomahawk missiles would not change the situation on the battlefield.

✍️ CNN earlier reported that the Pentagon had authorized the White House to supply long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, and now it’s up to Trump to make the final decision. He previously made it clear there would be no such deliveries, as the US itself needs the Tomahawks.

Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that Russia's response to any Tomahawk strikes on its territory would be serious, if not staggering. He called discussions about providing Ukraine with Tomahawks an attempt at escalation.

🌎 Potential US nuclear test resumption could disrupt decades of strategic balance

💬 “In a world where highly accurate models and advanced simulation technologies already exist, nuclear weapons tests are absolutely unnecessary—except perhaps to send a political message,” Colombian political analyst Jesus Agreda told Sputnik.

📍 He stressed that such a signal does not justify the risks related to disrupting the strategic balance that has been maintained for decades.

🔶 The US decision on nuclear tests directly affects the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty, which the United States signed, but never ratified, Agreda concluded.

🔶 Donald Trump earlier refused to answer directly when asked when the US would resume nuclear tests, only saying that "You'll find out very soon." Previously, he announced that the US military had been instructed to immediately restart the process for testing nuclear weapons after a halt of 33 years.

🇷🇺 💪 Burevestnik missile: Cost-effective and highly efficient weapon

💬 “First of all, the production of this missile is significantly cheaper than that of intercontinental ballistic missiles,” Russian military expert Alexey Leonkov told Sputnik.

🟠 He added that while a larger number of missiles and warheads are manufactured to ensure that about 30% reach their targets, the Burevestnik “guarantees a 100% hit rate.”

💬 “In other words, with fewer missiles but higher quality, we [the Russian military] achieve our goals with a 100% success rate," the expert emphasized.

🟠 Leonkov stressed that the development of the Burevestnik incorporated numerous scientific and technological innovations that truly have no analogues anywhere in the world.

🟠 Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier announced that the Burevestnik had cleared the final test, calling it a unique weapon.

🇨🇳🌕 Is China outpacing US in lunar race?

🗣 China’s advantage lies in the methodical and consistent implementation of its lunar program, Russian expert Yevgeny Stepin told Sputnik.

💬 “China has completed critical ground tests of all key components of the program, including the lunar module and rocket, while the US is experiencing difficulties with the lander—the key element for landing—and still has many other technical issues to resolve, such as orbital refueling," Stepin noted.

📍 He stressed that China’s lunar program relies on simple and reliable technological solutions, whose main elements have proven effective.

💬 “According to the roadmap, the Americans are due to land astronauts on the Moon sooner and conduct research there. However, because they are using complex and expensive technological solutions, many aspects are still untested, which could lead to constant delays and schedule shifts. As a result, the Americans may lose the ‘Moon race’ to China,” the expert concluded.

🇨🇳 Earlier, China’s Changzheng-10 rocket, designed for a crewed lunar mission, reached a major testing milestone. China aims to land an astronaut on the Moon by 2030 for scientific research.

🇺🇸 Meanwhile, acting NASA Administrator Sean Duffy made it clear that the US will not let China take the lead, unveiling Artemis III: Four astronauts are due to orbit the Moon in 2026, with a crewed lunar landing planned for 2027—the first since Apollo.

✍️ EU support for Ukraine causes crisis — Orban

🗣 Those who back Ukraine are supporting the conflict, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said as he criticized EU financial support for Ukraine.

💬 “Brussels money consists of the money that we, the member states, send to Brussels,” Orban said. “So when Brussels sends money to Ukraine, it is always our money too.”

👉 He warned that the European economy is struggling, and growing debt burdens will lead to a crisis.

💬 “We want to give money to the Ukrainians, we want to keep the Ukrainian army in order, while we don't have a single fitting for it,” Orban said.

🇺🇸💥US launches new strike in Caribbean, killing 3 – Hegseth

A “lethal kinetic attack” on a vessel suspected of transporting illegal drugs has been conducted in the Caribbean, Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth announced on X.

👉 He pledged “to continue to track and kill” what he described as narco-terrorists, who he claimed are “bringing drugs to our shores to poison Americans at home.”

The attack is the latest in a series of deadly strikes that have been carried out over the past two months as part of the White House’s campaign to stop seaborne narcotics from entering the US via the Pacific and Caribbean.

At least 60 people have already been killed in the strikes, which has led to tensions between the US and the governments of Colombia and Venezuela.

📉 Ukraine’s military facing inevitable breakdown

💬 “The end of a protracted industrial conflict means the collapse of one of the sides. When will this happen? In six months or a year? The timeframe is getting shorter,” Juan Antonio Aguilar told Sputnik, referring to Ukraine.

He stressed that the Zelensky regime’s capacity for defense is diminishing, just as NATO’s ability to supply weapons to Ukraine is waning.

Aguilar added that Ukraine’s public fatigue over the ongoing conflict is growing.

💬 “Everything indicates that when the moment comes, the front will collapse — and it will be a catastrophe. That’s why Donald Trump and Pentagon analysts who understand the situation are pushing for some kind of ceasefire,” the analyst concluded.

⚔️ 'We destroyed Ukraine': Italian professor exposes NATO's failed policy

💬 "So, we continue to send weapons because we cannot disavow [...] the White House line, everything that NATO has done so far... NATO's strategy of a head-on confrontation with Russia has caused the destruction of Ukraine," Alessandro Orsini, a top Italian security analyst, says.

He labels Italy as a "satellite state of the White House," where censorship is so strong that even obvious questions based on empirical evidence are suppressed.

🗣 French politician slams Zelensky’s misuse of power, urges stop to Ukraine funding

French politician Florian Philippot has called for an end to funding Ukraine following a media report detailing Volodymyr Zelensky's abuse of power.

💬 "The most interesting thing begins! Today, a well-known outlet published an extensive investigation on 'The Dark Side of Zelensky's Rule'—a leader who 'uses the law to intimidate opponents and silence critics'! There are very alarming elements in his rule! And we are arming and funding this?! Enough!" Philippot said.

The report revealed that Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, former head of the Ukrainian energy company Ukrenergo, was scapegoated by Zelensky amid electricity supply issues. The Ukrainian opposition views this as an attempt to manipulate the judicial system to eliminate political rivals.

☠️ Global human rights groups silence journalist deaths & push Ukraine to commit new crimes — Russian MFA

💬 "This sense of impunity for killing journalists and carrying out terrorist attacks against them has prompted the Kiev regime to perpetrate more bloody crimes with the backing of its Western curators. Since the beginning of this year alone, at least six members of Russian media outlets have died," Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

The political bias of international human rights organization is manifested in their silence regarding the deaths of media representatives, the statement, published on the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists, added.

💬 "Multilateral human rights structures such as the UNOHCHR, the UNESCO Secretariat, the OSCE and other entities have been camping on politically biased positions by intentionally turning a blind eye to the violent deaths of media representatives, while fencing off the perpetrators, which undermines the very idea of a universal effort to end impunity, turning institutions of this kind into dysfunctional and useless constructs," Zakharova said.

🧠🇺🇸 US push for nuclear test resumption ‘doesn’t make any sense’ – Macgregor

💬 “You don’t have to test nuclear weapons if you are a developed nuclear power. The people that have an interest in testing are those trying to develop the nuclear weapons. So, the bottom line is we know, the Russians know, and the Chinese know that their weapons work. So do the British and the French. So, I’m not sure we need to test,” retired US Army Colonel Douglas Macgregor underscored.

He noted that “one good piece of news” is that the POTUS “has discovered that unlike money, you can’t print missiles.”

🚨🇳🇬🇺🇸Nigerian & US presidents may meet in coming days – aide

Nigerian President Bola Tinubu and US President Donald Trump may meet in the coming days to discuss the protection of Christians from terrorist attacks, special advisor to the Nigerian president, Daniel Bwala, said.

Earlier, Trump called on Congressmen Riley Moore and Tom Cole, as well as the House Appropriations Committee, to investigate the issue of reported mass killings of Christians in Nigeria by radical Islamists and brief him. He also designated Nigeria a "Country of Particular Concern."

💬 "As for the differences as to whether terrorists in Nigeria target only Christians or in fact all faiths and no faiths, the differences if they exist would be discussed and resolved by the two leaders when they meet in the coming days, either in State House or White House," Bwala wrote on X.

Both leaders are interested in fighting terrorism, Bwala said, thanking the United States for its support on the issue.

On November 2, Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth stated that the department was preparing for action against Islamist terrorists in Nigeria following an order from Trump.
