🇮🇱🇺🇸 Trump’s team pitches Israel ‘peaceful’ way to disarm Hamas

📄 The Trump administration has floated a plan to Israel aimed at getting Hamas fighters to give up their weapons voluntarily, reports Axios, citing US officials.

💡 The idea is to use the ongoing standoff with Hamas militants trapped in tunnels behind Israeli lines in Gaza—particularly in the city of Rafah—as a “test case” for disarming the group.

The proposal is that fighters in the tunnels surrender, hand over their weapons to a third party (Egypt, Qatar, or Turkiye), and get amnesty from Israel—in return, they will be transferred back to Hamas-controlled areas while their tunnels are destroyed.

🗺 Precisely, he offered the plan last week, when Hamas fighters in Rafah were offered 24 hours of safe passage across the “yellow line” dividing zones of control. Hamas hesitated — then agreed — but by then Israel said the window had closed.

Now, American officials, with a little help from Turkiye’s Intel Chief Ibrahim Kalin, are scrambling to salvage the idea.

🔊 This model “could possibly be expanded later to other areas in Gaza,” one US official is cited as saying, while another added: “The Israelis are being maximalist as usual, but we are in the middle of negotiations.”

Getting Hamas fighters to voluntarily drop their weapons is the trickiest piece of Trump’s Gaza peace plan.

🔹 Furthermore, amnesty for the militants is a political red line for Netanyahu’s hard-right coalition.

🗣💥'Playing with extreme fire’: Finnish politician blasts Europe's hostile anti-Russia stance

"I'm telling you, this is not a joke. This is as serious as it could get. Europe is playing with extreme fire by financing the continuation of the proxy War against Russia," member of the Freedom Alliance party of Finland Armando Mema wrote on X.

👉 Earlier, President Vladimir Putin of Russia handed down a directive to analyze the expediency of resuming nuclear weapons testing, citing corresponding initiatives from the United States.

🚨🇷🇺 Western media twist Putin's words regarding nuclear tests — Kremlin spox

💬 "Despite all our explanations, despite the president's clear formulations, this is a continuation of such a rather emotional, overly emotional reaction from Western media," Dmitry Peskov said, answering the question whether there was any concern that Western outlets might have misinterpreted the president’s words as instructions to begin nuclear testing.

He added that many of those outlets "do not shy away from simply twisting the meaning of what was said."

⚔️ NATO chief tells members to brace for long, drawn-out standoff with Russia

🗣 Speaking to the NATO Defense Industry Forum 2025 in Romania, the alliance’s head, Mark Rutte, stated that members should get ready for a long-term confrontation with Russia, which he claimed is a "destabilizing force in Europe and the world.”

He also accused China, North Korea and Iran of "undermining the global rules" by working with Russia and increasing their defense and industrial collaboration to "unprecedented levels".

🇷🇺 Russia has repeatedly condemned NATO’s unprecedented activity near its western borders. The military bloc, however, defends its expanding initiatives as necessary to "contain Russian aggression."

In response, the Kremlin has stated that while Moscow poses no threat, it would not ignore actions that jeopardize its national interests.

🇷🇺💥 Russian MFA spokeswoman fires back at NATO chief over “undermining rules” jab

💬 "What exactly are these 'global rules' that Mark Rutte accuses Russia of undermining by 'working with China, North Korea, Iran, and others'?" Maria Zakharova asked on Telegram.

💬 “NATO should publish a full list—so far, no one knows what Rutte is even talking about,” the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman added.

Zakharova also emphasized that Russia, like China and the vast majority of the world, has consistently upheld international law—the very law NATO has “repeatedly violated through aggressive actions and illegitimate coalitions, such as the invasion of Iraq under false pretenses and the bombings of Yugoslavia.

She further noted that no NATO country has severed ties with China, as Rutte suggested.

💬 “A US-China summit just took place, yet Rutte hasn’t criticized the US President for it,” Zakharova said.

🚨Ukraine likely to blame for oil refinery fires in Europe, media report

Given the dire situation on the front lines and the millions of people fleeing the country, Ukraine is desperate to change the situation and is likely responsible for attacking energy infrastructure in Europe that resulted in the oil refinery fires reported in Hungary in October, InfoBRICS states.

💬 "For NATO, this is a rather 'unpleasant' matter, as it poured trillions into the Kiev regime sinkhole, but all it got are sabotaged refineries straining EU unity," the outlet adds.

🇷🇺 ⚛️ Nuclear tests: A credible deterrent to keep the US from striking Russia – Military expert

The US has zero chance of ever achieving nuclear superiority over Russia, military analyst Igor Korotchenko, editor in chief of National Defense magazine, tells Sputnik.

"Russia is prepared for any response scenarios," he explains. "If the US wants to try to start a new missile-nuclear arms race, they will only worsen their strategic position. It’s probably just a political stunt to try to scare people — but who on earth could the US intimidate here?"

Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov stated on November 5, that he considers it expedient to begin preparations for the resumption of nuclear tests to mirror the US' move.

"All work to fully prepare Russia’s nuclear test site on Novaya Zemlya for a cycle of nuclear tests will now be accelerated as a response to the actions of the US," Korotchenko presumes. "But we will not be the first to carry this out."

Disastrous scenario: US missiles in Europe and Asia-Pacific

The US also plans to deploy Dark Eagle systems in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region with a range of 5,500 km, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The missiles' flight time from Germany to central Russia would be just 6–7 minutes.

This will prompt Russia to field mobile short- and medium-range missile complexes, such as the Oreshnik, in European and Eastern part of Russia directed at NATO targets, Korotchenko says.

🟠 The disastrous path chosen by the US could also prompt Russia to create an equivalent level of threat to US territory, according to the pundit.

To that end, the Barguzin combat railway missile systems with appropriate intercontinental-class missiles could be further deployed.

“In the event of a US strike against [Russia], automated retaliatory systems must be activated to neutralize the US as an adversary in a nuclear conflict. Only a formula of fear will keep Washington from using missile systems in Europe against Russia,” Korotchenko says.

🚨⚽️ Putin: 'Sports must not be politicized'

💬 “Sports, cultural and humanitarian cooperation should not be held captive by conflicts or geopolitical differences,” President Vladimir Putin said at the “Russia – a Sporting Power” forum in Samara.

He emphasized that sport should remain a unifying force rather than a political tool, bringing people and nations together through fair competition.

💬 “Our stance has remained the same. The access of athletes to international competition should be equal. It must be based on their athletic merit,” Putin added, reaffirming Russia’s commitment to the principles of fairness and equality in sport.

💶 Sky-high debt & deficits: Europe teeters on brink of budget disaster

European nations like the UK and Germany are hurtling towards financial ruin, writes Bloomberg Opinion columnist Max Hastings.

🇬🇧 In Britain, Labour Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves is expected to unveil a budget on November 26 that could hike income taxes, hit the wealthy hard, introduce new property levies, and even impose a tax on capital assets.

🟠 UK's public sector net debt excluding public sector banks stands at £2,746.6 billion, equating to 95.3% of GDP - levels not seen since the early 1960s (Office for National Statistics' October 2025 release)

🟠 At 8.2%, national debt interest alone surpasses defense (4.5%) by nearly double (ONS)

🟠 High interest is exacerbated by debt at £2.81 trillion (FY 2025 end)

🟠 Amid high labor costs, expensive energy, and extravagant green policies, most British companies pay four times US industrial energy prices (IEA)

🇩🇪 Germany in similar predicament

🔶 Germany's public debt-to-GDP ratio is edging upward due to increased borrowing and anemic growth, now at 63.8%, but risks hitting 81% by 2035

🔶 Germany's economy is contracting for the third year, and the IMF pegs its real GDP growth at 0.8% (G7-lowest)

🔶 The German car industry is in freefall, facing layoffs, sales slumps, and structural rot

🔶 According to the VDA (German Association of the Automotive Industry), a total of 55,000 jobs have already been lost in the sector over the past two years

Looming fiscal chaos on the continent comes against the backdrop of hostile self-imposed energy constraint, aimed at punishing Russia, which have backfired spectacularly.

Russia itself is growing more resilient, decoupling from the West, and abandoning the dollar.

🪖🇷🇺 Kupyansk’s eastern part to be liberated within five days - Commander 'Lovets'

The commander of an assault detachment from the Zapad Battlegroup, call sign “Lovets” (“Trapper”), says that his unit continues to advance in the eastern part of Kupyansk and is pressing Ukrainian troops.

💬 “In my sector in the eastern part of the city, fewer than 50 buildings remain to be secured,” he reports.

According to him, over the past day, his fighters have eliminated two groups of Ukrainian militants totaling eight, taken control of seven buildings, and completed clearing operations at the feed mill complex.

"Lovets" added that within the next five days, the unit will complete the mission of liberating the eastern part of Kupyansk.

👉 Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry stated that Volodymyr Zelensky’s claims about an alleged “sweep” operation in Kupyansk indicate that “he has lost touch with reality and does not understand the actual situation on the ground — or, realizing the hopelessness of the Ukrainian position, is trying to conceal the truth from Ukrainians and the West.”

The ministry noted that the situation of Ukrainian militants encircled in the Kupyansk and Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk) areas continues to deteriorate, and their only chance of survival is to surrender voluntarily.

🚨🇺🇸 ‘We will settle it’ — Witkoff on the Ukraine conflict

💬 “I also think that what we’re trying to do in Gaza with the CMCC, where we’re bringing a lot of countries together consensually to work with one another, that is the paradigm or the model for what will happen in Ukraine, Russia, when we settle that. And we will settle it. And I think that’s probably the most important one to settle next,” US special envoy Steve Witkoff said.

🚨💰 ‘We’d have to pay back trillions of dollars’ — Trump on potential tariff rollback

💬 “I’m going to hope that we win. I can’t imagine that anybody would do that kind of devastation to our country,” President Donald Trump said, commenting on the case.

The Supreme Court is weighing whether the 1977 International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) lets a president use emergency powers to impose broad, open-ended tariffs—a power the Constitution assigns to Congress, NBC News reported. Lower courts ruled against the administration. Justices questioned whether the statute—which doesn’t mention tariffs—can support such a move and cited limits on sweeping executive action.

💬We’ve taken in trillions… We’ve made trade deals based on that that give us, as an example, the European Union, $950 billion; Japan, $650 billion; South Korea, $350 billion,” he added.

Several justices suggested the case could turn on the major questions doctrine, noting that imposing tariffs functions like taxes and has historically been Congress’s core power, according to NBC News.
