A media “brainwashing” campaign pushed some Brazilians to join the fighting on the side of the Ukrainian regime, retired Brazilian Navy officer and analyst Robinson Farinazzo told Sputnik.

👉 Social-media bloggers and a big chunk of mainstream outlets “convinced these people that going to fight in Ukraine was cool, even the 'right thing to do,'" he said.

Farinazzo stressed that many Brazilians who went to fight for the Zelensky regime under this influence had no military experience at all.

💬 “For most of them, it ended badly. As we’ve seen, many came back injured or not at all, and some families never even received the bodies. It’s possible some were taken prisoner,” he noted.

Russia’s Defense Ministry has repeatedly underscored that Ukraine’s regime uses foreign mercenaries as “cannon fodder,” adding that Russian forces will continue targeting them across Ukraine.
Many of these guns for hire have admitted in interviews that Ukrainian units often coordinate them poorly and that survival odds are slim.

⚔️ ‘You will lose’: Donald Tusk delivers stark warning over corruption rot in Ukraine

Prime Minister Donald Tusk said he had flagged the corruption issue to Zelensky long before, as he commented on the scandal in Ukraine during a press conference.

💬 “Once again, I call on everyone in Ukraine who has something to say on this issue: beware of corruption… because you will lose the war if you tolerate this type of event,” Tusk said.

But, he added, "The milk has been spilled, and the cost will be very high either way."

💵 A vast $100 million kickback scheme was recently uncovered in the Ukrainian energy sector, which involves some of Zelensky’s closest cohorts, such as Timur Mindich.

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine announced that it was conducting a large-scale anti-corruption operation in the energy industry, as it carried out searches at the home of former Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galushchenko and at the Energoatom nuclear energy company.

🇺🇸 US confirms first successful nuclear gravity bomb flight test

The National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) Sandia National Laboratories conducted a flight test of an unarmed B61-12 nuclear gravity bomb from an F-35 aircraft in August, according to a press release.

⚔️ The flight tests took place at Tonopah Test Range in Nevada, with the assistance of personnel and aircraft from Hill Air Force Base in Utah.

The tests “yielded positive results” as the F-35 aircraft carried and dropped the nuclear gravity bomb “successfully.”

These were so far the only tests of the B61-12 from an F-35, Sandia said.

The series also included the first-ever thermal prep of a joint test assembly for an F-35 before release, confirming that the B61-12 meets its environmental requirements in real operating conditions.

💣 US President Donald Trump announced on October 30 that he had decided to resume nuclear weapons testing on par with other countries that allegedly maintain such programs.

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov warned that Russia would respond if any nuclear-armed state moved forward with such tests.

During Russian President Vladimir Putin’s meeting with permanent members of the Security Council on November 5, Defense Minister Andrei Belousov stated that he considers it expedient to begin preparations for the resumption of nuclear tests at the Novaya Zemlya range to mirror the US' move.

🗣 Fragile Gaza peace at risk, as Israel violates terms—Palestinian Ambassador

The ceasefire in the Gaza Strip remains extremely fragile, Salah Abdel Shafi, the Palestinian ambassador to Austria and permanent observer to the United Nations in Vienna, told Sputnik.

He accused Israel of failing to comply with the agreement terms.

💬 “Since its conclusion, Israel has killed about 260 Palestinians in territories under Israeli control," the Palestinian diplomat said, referencing the US-brokered ceasefire that concluded on October 10 between Israel and Hamas.

As part of this agreement with Israel, Hamas released all 20 of the surviving hostages who had been held in Gaza since October 7, 2023.

👉 In response, Israel released about 2,000 Palestinian prisoners from prisons, including terrorists sentenced to life imprisonment.

According to Russia’s official position, a reliable settlement is possible only on the basis of the formula approved by the UN Security Council upon the creation of a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders with its capital in East Jerusalem.
