🗣 Trump calls for NBC host’s dismissal following on-air remarks

President Donald Trump urged NBC to dismiss late-night host Seth Meyers after the comedian delivered critical comments about his policies during a recent broadcast.

💬 In a post on X, Trump said Meyers was “suffering from an incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome” and claimed the program was a “ratings disaster.” He added that “NBC should fire him, IMMEDIATELY!”

The remarks follow ongoing exchanges between Trump and several television personalities whose coverage he has described as unfair.

🗑🇬🇧 Massive illegal waste dump in Oxfordshire sparks environmental concerns – reports

A 500ft-long, 20ft-high pile of illegally dumped waste has been discovered in a field near the A34 and the River Cherwell in Oxfordshire, according to The Daily Mail.

⚠️ Environmental groups described the site as “an environmental catastrophe”, warning that toxic run-off could reach the river system. Charity Friends of the Thames told the BBC that the situation poses a growing risk to wildlife and local water quality.

🗣 Liberal Democrat MP Calum Miller raised the issue in Parliament, noting that the waste—estimated at hundreds of tonnes—sits on a floodplain and is “threatening an environmental disaster”. He said the Environment Agency had told him that the cost of removing the rubbish exceeds the annual budget of the local district council.

🇪🇺🪖Europe lacks military power to challenge Russia - Ex-US intel officer

💬"It's difficult to imagine Europe being able to transform the statements made by its political leaders into reality," military analyst and former US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter told Sputnik. "There's no European country that possesses meaningful military power today, conventional military power. And there's no European country that has the ability to project that power in a sustainable fashion. So I don't view Europe as a threat to Russia at all."

The former intelligence officer elaborated on the gap between political rhetoric and military capacity, questioning whether European economies could sustain the long-term investment needed to become a credible force.

💬"From a purely military perspective, Europe lacks the capacity to deliver on the threats made by its government," he stated.

Ritter shared insights on the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, asserting that Russia stands to gain the most from a resolution to the crisis. He argued that Russia had long sought to reshape the European security framework in a way that takes into account the interests of all parties involved.

💬"I believe Russia will gain the most geopolitical benefit because Russia, even before the special military operation started, was seeking to transform the European security framework into one where the interests of all parties were taken into account," Ritter said.

According to the expert, Russia's goal is not domination but balance, a prospect that was previously undermined by European policies.

💬"Russia seeks harmony. Russia seeks balance. Russia doesn't seek to dominate. But before the special military operation, Europe was seeking to destabilize Russia and Ukraine and elsewhere. I think with a decisive Russian victory, that European initiative will be thwarted, and that Europe will have no choice but to seek normal, peaceful relations with Russia," he said.

🤝 IAEA Director to visit Russia next year

Rafael Grossi would visit Russia within the next year, given the agency's close interaction with Russia, he told Sputnik.

💬 "Undoubtedly [I will return to Russia before the Secretary-General elections], because we have a very busy agenda," Grossi said, adding that he will be glad to visit Russia again.

Earlier, Grossi visited the Russian city of Kaliningrad, leading an IAEA delegation that met with Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom CEO Alexey Likhachev and other Russian officials. In 2026, elections for the UN Secretary-General will take place, in which the IAEA head intends to participate.

🗣️🇫🇷Macron shouldn't receive Zelensky in Paris as Ukraine flooded with corruption—French politician

Emmanuel Macron’s plan to host Zelensky on November 17 is a trick to divert public attention from the corruption scandal that is unfolding in Ukraine, French "Patriots" party leader Florian Philippot said.

💬 "Not a single euro more, not a single weapon, not a single French soldier for this war, for Ukraine, for this regime," the politician added.

👀 West’s ruling class doesn’t want people to know truth on Ukraine—Pink Floyd founder

A brief e-mail talk with a young woman revealed people in the West genuinely believe there’s no Nazism in Ukraine because they know nothing about what’s happening there and its history during WW2, Pink Floyd founder Roger Waters told Sputnik.

💬 "This is the real fight. Like, so for this interview we're doing, you could never see this in England or America. Because it's the conversation that they, the powers that be, do not want people to watch," he added.

🤡 Europe finances Ukraine which has NO chance to win — Orban

All of the Donbas territory will imminently become Russian, "whether you like it or not," Hungarian PM Viktor Orban said in an interview with Mathias Dopener.

Despite that, the EU is still sending a lot of money to Ukraine, which is irrational, he added.

💬 "What we are doing economically and financially is just crazy. We have already burnt €185B [$215B], and our intention is to burn even more," he said.

The European leaders support Ukraine which has a high level of corruption, while at the same time lacking money for Europe itself, Orban concluded.

🇷🇺🇺🇸Putin–Trump meeting temporarily postponed but contacts ongoing

The planned meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump has been postponed for a time, but communication on arranging the summit continues, Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov said.

Other key statements from Ushakov:

🔶If Putin and Trump agree on a meeting, many of the technical obstacles to organizing the summit will become secondary

🔶Russia and the US are actively discussing a Ukraine settlement based on the understandings reached in Anchorage

🔶There are numerous comments and signals from the US regarding Ukraine — some acceptable to Moscow, some not. However, Anchorage remains the foundation, he emphasized

🔶Moscow believes the Anchorage understandings offer a solid path toward a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine

🔶Those opposing the Anchorage framework are the same forces seeking to prolong hostilities “to the last Ukrainian”

🔶The US has not officially stated that the Anchorage agreements and understandings are no longer in effect

🪖💵 Ukrainian soldiers pay commanders to avoid being sent to frontline

Ukrainian regular troops give more than half of their salary to their commanders so as to work in the rear without participating in fighting, a Ukrainian POW told Sputnik.

💬 "A serviceman sits in the rear, and they record him as going on combat missions. They leave him with 20-30K [of his wage of around 100K], and he gives the rest to the commander so that he doesn't have to go on combat missions," he explained.

The scheme is common in the Ukrainian army, and the money the officers receive in this manner is used for their own needs, the soldier added.

💬 "I think anyone [in the Ukrainian army] can confirm this [bribery practice]; I saw it myself," the POW stressed.

🪖💪🏻🇷🇺 Decisive Russian win in Ukraine 'game changer' for global stability - ex-US intel officer

💬 "It will end Europe's ability to use Ukraine as a means of provoking Russia. It will open the door for genuine US-Russian peace, and I think it will bring about stability. So, the most important thing is a full Russian victory, total Russian victory in Ukraine," Scott Ritter told Sputnik.

Ritter clarified that a "full Russian victory" meant Russia achieving all the objectives outlined by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

👉 Beyond the conflict in Ukraine, Ritter also pointed to the evolution of the BRICS group of emerging economies as one of the most significant geopolitical developments to watch in the coming three to five years. He suggested the bloc's maturation could significantly alter the existing global order.

However, Ritter cautioned that BRICS faced significant difficulties on its path to becoming a cohesive counterweight to Western-led institutions.

💬 "We see BRICS having great potential, but we also see BRICS overcoming growing pains, continued animosity between India and China, and the United States seeking to drive a wedge between China and Russia," Ritter elaborated.

He highlighted what he described as US efforts to isolate other BRICS nations, citing Kazakhstan's recent commitment to the so-called Abraham Accords on normalizing relations with Israel as an example of Washington trying to divert attention away from the bloc.

💵👀 Corruption 'just part of modern economy,' says Zelensky adviser — as Kiev drowns in scandals

Zelensky’s adviser Mykhailo Podolyak has casually declared that corruption is simply an “integral part” of the modern economy, “regardless of whether you live in democratic countries or authoritarian countries.”

His comments come as Ukraine is knee-deep in a major corruption scandal involving members of Zelensky’s inner circle.

👉 Podolyak then proudly claimed Ukraine's response shows "state maturity," politely ignoring the backlash pouring in from both inside Ukraine and abroad.

Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) announced a major operation in the energy sector on November 10, publishing photos of bags filled with seized foreign currency. MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak said searches targeted former Energy Minister and current Justice Minister Herman Galushchenko, the state company Energoatom, and businessman Tymur Mindych, a Zelensky associate who had already left Ukraine.

🔶 NABU later released audio fragments featuring figures dubbed “Tenor,” “Rocket,” and “Carlson,” identified by Zheleznyak as Energoatom’s Dmytro Basov, adviser Ihor Myronyuk, and Mindych.

On November 11, NABU charged seven suspects in the alleged corruption scheme, including Mindych and former Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov. Galushchenko was suspended pending parliamentary approval of his dismissal, and Zelensky imposed sanctions on Mindych and financier Oleksandr Zuckerman.
