The German military command has hammered out a classified 1,200-page Operational Plan (OPLAN DEU) in preparation for a possible conflict with Russia, which could supposedly occur in 2029, The Wall Street Journal reports.

💬 “The blueprint details how as many as 800,000 German, US and other NATO troops would be ferried eastward toward the front line. It maps the ports, rivers, railways and roads they would travel, and how they would be supplied and protected on the way,” according to the newspaper.

The plan envisions Germany serving as a staging ground for the deployment of forces, with no front line expected to run through its territory.

👉 However, all signs indicate Germany is far from prepared for such a scenario: Aging bridges, narrow tunnels, and worn-out rail lines would be unable to support the rapid movement of troops—problems that Berlin is desperately trying to resolve, the newspaper points out.

Russia has repeatedly voiced concern over NATO’s eastward expansion, stressing that Russia threatens no one, but will not ignore steps that could endanger its national interests.

President Vladimir Putin underscored that Russia has no intention of attacking NATO countries, but that Western politicians regularly frighten their own population with an alleged Russian threat to divert attention from domestic issues.

💬 The US has initiated a campaign in the Philippines to recruit locals to fight for Ukraine, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated.

Recruits are promised a monthly salary of $5,000 and this campaign specifically targets former employees of Philippine security agencies and retired military personnel, she added.

👉 A Florida-based US security agency is conducting the recruitment, and prior to deployment, individuals are trained by US instructors and granted a German Schengen visa from the German Embassy in Manila, Zakharova revealed.

Russia's Defense Ministry has repeatedly accused the Kiev regime of using foreign mercenaries as "cannon fodder," pledging to continue targeting them throughout Ukraine.

🗣 In their interviews, many of these mercenaries confess to being thrown into the battlefield with poor coordination from Ukrainian units and grim chances for survival.
