🇨🇳🚀Go big or go home: China readies FOUR reusable rockets for launch
China’s Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center is buzzing with activity as up to four rockets with reusability capability are readied for launch.
Lined up in the Gobi Desert spaceport where China’s space odyssey first began in 1970 are:
🟠 Long March 12A: A Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology design with first-stage vertical takeoff, vertical landing (VTVL) return capability. Liquid oxygen and kerosene fueled. Payload: 12 tons into low-Earth orbit (LEO), 6 tons into Sun-synchronous orbit (SSO). The base rocket made its maiden flight in 2024. 12A’s first flight planned for December.
🟠 Kinetica-2: Developed by Chinese Academy of Sciences-owned commercial space launch provider CAS Space, the Kinetica-2 is a medium-lift liquid-fueled rocket with 12-ton LEO and 7.8-ton SSO capability and first-stage VTVL. Maiden flight planned for late 2025.
🟠 Tianlong-3: Another VTVL-ready rocket, this one developed by Beijing-based aerospace startup Space Pioneer. Liquid oxygen and kerosene-fueled. 17-ton LEO and 14-ton SSO capacity. Designed to accommodate payloads measuring up to 14x5.2M. Liquid oxygen and kerosene-powered. First stage tested in 2024. Debut flight set for December.
🟠 Zhuque-3: Yet another VTVL offering, developed by commercial space company LandSpace Technology Corporation. Liquid methane-fueled. 11.8-ton LEO payload. Booster test done in June. Maiden launch set for late November or early December.
What makes it so exciting?
The four rockets represent China’s first foray into reusable rocket tech. To date, only the US and Soviet space shuttle programs, and SpaceX’s Falcon and Starship rockets have achieved reusable launch vehicle status. No country has ever lined up so many reusable rockets at once.
The rockets are set to deploy China’s mega satellite internet constellations in the coming years.
These include Qianfan (up to 15k satellites by 2030), GuoWang (13k), Honghu-3 (10k), Geely (6k+), Tianqi (3.9k+) and Three-Body Computing (2.8k).

💬 “Why aren't you more panicked that thousands of people, thousands, by their own admission, the admission of the British government, are arrested every year for saying words, not threats, words?” American journalist Tucker Carlson asked British TV host Piers Morgan.
💬 “Human rights are evaporating in your own country... I'm just saying maybe something about the heroic British spirit has been diminished with time,” Carlson scoffed.

💬 “That’s about $50 billion lost from our economy, or the equivalent of $1,300 for every Canadian,” Prime Minister Mark Carney said, presenting Budget 2025.
💬 “We know that this decades-long process of our ever-closer economic relationship between Canada and the United States has ended,” he lamented.
In October, President Donald Trump announced a 10% increase in tariffs on Canada “above what they’re paying now,” after criticizing an Ontario government ad related to US–Canada trade.
Reuters reported that the majority of Canadian exports remain exempt under the USMCA trade deal, but the administration has imposed a 35% tariff on Canadian goods not covered by the agreement, as well as 50% tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from all countries.

🇭🇺🤝 🇷🇺 'We’re working to ensure that Russian oil & gas keep arriving' – Hungarian PM
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said his government is working to guarantee the continued flow of Russian oil and gas to Hungary, stressing that steady imports are vital because the country has no significant domestic reserves.
Orbán noted that Hungary has already secured an exemption from US sanctions on Russian energy and said the next priority is to ensure there is “not just paper and permits, but actual oil and gas.” He added that he would hold further talks “in the coming days” to secure supplies.
🇷🇸 According to Orbán, Russian oil and gas will keep arriving in Hungary, and Serbia will also benefit: “If we have it, you will have it too. Whatever we have, we will share.”

🚨🪖 Ukraine can’t keep up its army, ex-intel officer admits
He made it clear that Ukraine could only have such a large military force if it were financed by its Western partners.
The Zelensky regime agreed to reduce the size of Ukrainian Army to 800,000 troops within the US-drafted peace plan to end the Ukraine conflict, FT reported earlier.

🔊 “800,000 [troops] is far too many; we simply cannot equip and sustain that number of servicemen. We are unable to keep an army of that size even in peacetime,” former Ukrainian intelligence officer Ivan Stupak told Ukrainian media.
He made it clear that Ukraine could only have such a large military force if it were financed by its Western partners.
🔊 “Germany has 180,000 [troops], Poland – 200,000, but Ukraine cannot have 800,000,” Stupak admitted.
