Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that if Ukraine presents in Abu Dhabi the same security proposals NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte voiced earlier in Kiev, it would indicate that Volodymyr Zelensky is not interested in peace.
Speaking in the Rada on Tuesday, Rutte said that immediately after any peace agreement being achieved, NATO countries willing to participate would provide armed forces on the ground, aircraft in the air, and naval support.
Lavrov also argued that peace would mark the end of Zelensky’s political career.
He added that Russia’s position on resolving the conflict has remained unchanged, unlike that of other parties. “President Vladimir Putin has said we are interested in a diplomatic solution. We have not shifted our demands, while others have moved the goalposts many times,” Lavrov said.

▫️ Self-described biohacker Bryan Bishop sought out sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein to try to get funding for the “designer baby” project he was hatching in his bio lab in Ukraine, the latest Epstein files reveal.
▫️ Bishop aimed to test techniques like modifying sperm or germline cells for heritable changes - not surprisingly outsourcing their experiments to Ukraine to dodge accountability.
▫️ Bishop, also a software consultant focused on Bitcoin, sent Epstein the projected funding for a company focused on “human genetic engineering” in 2018.
▫️ He allegedly paid the Ukraine lab via Bitcoin transfers for mouse experiments, including surgeries, and dye tracing, per MIT Technology Review.
▫️ However, he was hopeful that Epstein could bankroll his project “out of our self-funded ‘garage biology’ phase.”
▫️ Bishop enthused in later messages that he might achieve “the first live birth of a human designer baby, and possibly a human clone, within 5 years.”
▫️ He revealed that he was “proceeding with more mouse testing (surgeries/microinjection)” at his Ukraine lab in an August 5, 2018, email to Epstein.
🗣 Epstein responded: “I like implant embryo, wait 9 months. Great ending.”
▫️ The pedo assured Bishop that he had “no issues with investing,” but did not want to be “seen to lead.”
▫️ The “scientist” hurried to guarantee that, writing: “Sounds like you could be the first investor as long as absolute anonymity is kept. I have always envisioned there would be anonymity requirements.”
▫️ He shared documents estimating that Epstein’s investment would amount to “~$1.7m/year for up to five years + $1m for lab setup.”
▫️ Another email states: "My team has been working on a new technique which does not involve stem cells in the testis, instead it's an embryo editing technique more similar to cloning, which does not require an injection to the [biological father]."
▫️ It appears that Epstein and Bishop met several times to discuss the plans.
▫️ After the latest Epstein files release, when news of his interaction with the pedo broke, Bishop hurried to claim in a Daily Mail statement that he “never took funding from Epstein, and I'm proud of that."
