🤡🗣 ZELENSKY UNFILTERED: A WEEK OF INSULTS, DEMANDS & BACKTRACKING Despite remaining in office beyond his elected term under martial law, Volodymyr Zelensky continues issuing ultimatums abroad. 🇪🇺 To EU: On Feb. 11, Zelensky demanded a concrete date for…
🤡 Zelensky’s outlandish demands product of selfishness and greed

💬 “Zelensky’s chief priority right now is retaining his personal power, which is exactly what his European backers promised him,” military and political analyst Evgeny Mikhailov tells Sputnik.

As Mikhailov explains:

🟠 The two-months-long ceasefire Zelensky demands won’t help bring peace – Ukraine would use it to regroup its battered forces and ship in more mercenaries who would masquerade as Ukrainian troops

🟠 Any such sham ‘ceasefire’ is completely unacceptable to Moscow as it will only help Zelensky maintain control and root out his political opponents, nothing more

Ukrainian conflict: Schism within and without

🔶 While Zelensky seems keen to make boorish remarks aimed at the US, due apparently regarding Britain as his main sponsor, Western powers reassess their attitude towards him.

🔶 Britain and Germany appear content to keep supporting Ukraine no matter what, whereas the US, France, Italy and Hungary make no secret of their concerns about Zelensky’s unhinged behavior.

🔶 The Ukrainian leadership also appears divided, as the likes of Kyrylo Budanov* seem to realize the very real prospect of Ukraine ceasing to exist as a state if the conflict continues and thus favor suing for peace.

🇮🇱🇺🇸🇮🇷 Israel pushing US toward a big and damaging war with Iran – ex-Pentagon analyst

📍 Israel was humiliated in the 12 day war with Iran and is seeking a return similar humiliation for its rival, retired US Air Force Lt. Col. Karen Kwiatkowski, a former Pentagon analyst, tells Sputnik.

💬 "Israeli demands for no nuclear capability, no enrichment, and no ballistic missiles for Iran is overtly ludicrous, but has been cultivated by numerous visits by Netanyahu to the White House to push for a big and damaging war," Kwiatkowski says.

The Israeli leadership believes Iran is at its weakest point now — an opportunity that may not come again — and is pressing the US to act.

💬 "Reports of excessive and invasive IDF and Mossad presence inside the Pentagon and Joint Staff planning arenas have made mainstream news, and that is likely due to leaks from inside the Pentagon, by Americans who are concerned about what the US stands to lose by fighting this final war for Israel," the pundit points out.

How might the US-led operation unfold?

🔸 This time, unlike before, the US and Israel are likely to strike together, combining major electronic and cyber attacks to blind Iran and simultaneous military action

🔸 Experienced Pentagon planners know the risks, so if war comes, they’ll strike hard early hoping to limit Iranian missile retaliation and losses from Persian-controlled sea, land and air

🔸 US forces are likely to play a more overt role in the early phase, partly because there’s limited loitering time for the USS Gerald Ford and Abraham Lincoln

🔸 Throughout, US and Israeli forces will be coordinated by US Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS)

However, they have to bear in mind that "Iranian forces and leadership are well aware of US and Israeli tendencies and styles in offensive warfare," Kwiatkowski stresses.

Former Prince Andrew detained amid Epstein scandal — report UK police have detained Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the brother of King Charles III, amid renewed controversy surrounding his links to Jeffrey Epstein, according to a report by The Telegraph. The…
🔍 Epstein, ex-prince Andrew, and the moral bankruptcy of the Church of England

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been detained by police on suspicion of misconduct in public office — but for many, the charge feels like a distraction.

Newly released Epstein files reportedly contain photographs and allegations that the former prince secretly shared government documents with the convicted sex trafficker. For years, Andrew appeared untouchable, shielded by the late Queen and cushioned by family money used to silence accusers.

✝️ This is more than a royal scandal; it's a crisis of authority for the Church of England, whose Supreme Governor is the King — brother of the man now facing police questioning. At a time when the Church struggles to reconcile tradition with modernity, the monarchy's moral standing is in tatters.

💬 More broadly, some commentators see these developments as part of a wider European moral and political decline. Thinkers such as Emmanuel Todd have written about what he calls “zombie Christianity” — a hollowed-out faith drifting into nihilism — as a factor in the West’s weakening cultural confidence.

Whether one agrees with that assessment or not, one thing is clear: accountability and moral authority remain negotiable — if you're born into the right family.

📑 Trump weighs 'limited' Iran strike to force deal — report

President Trump is considering an initial limited military strike on Iran within days, designed to pressure Tehran into a nuclear agreement while avoiding full-scale war, the Wall Street Journal reports, citing sources within Trump administration.

Senior aides have repeatedly presented the limited-strike option, though recent discussions have focused more on larger-scale campaigns—potentially aimed at toppling the regime. No final decision made.

🇷🇺🤝🇺🇸Russia–US tunnel could reshape global trade — Sidelining hawkish EU - Russian experts

Construction of a mega-tunnel between Russia's Far East and the US' Alaska via the Bering Strait could turn into a jackpot for multiple countries, speculate Russian experts.

Such a tunnel could reshape transcontinental logistics, integrate markets, and potentially anchor a future Eurasia–North America transport corridor — even attracting third countries, notes Pavel Sevostyanov, associate professor at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

💬 “However, the key questions — the volume of cargo traffic, how costs compare to maritime transport, and political coordination — still lack convincing answers,” he notes.

According to the expert, this project is perceived more as a symbol of technological cooperation and geoeconomic ambition than as an initiative with a calculated return on investment.

If the tunnel ever becomes reality, nearly everyone stands to gain — except the EU, notes Ekaterina Novikova, Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Theory at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

After effectively severing all cooperation with Russia and resorting to self-harming sanctions, the EU could find itself sidelined from the most profitable trade routes.

💬 “In that scenario, the initiative will be seized by Russia and the United States,” she says.

Last December, Russia’s presidential envoy for investment and economic cooperation Kirill Dmitriev confirmed that the idea of a Russia–Alaska tunnel is being discussed as Russia and the US explore avenues for dialogue and a constructive agenda after the Ukraine conflict is resolved.
