The celebrations, initiated by Pacelli (later Pope Pius XII) became a tradition. Each April 20, Cardinal Bertram of Berlin was to send "warmest congratulations to the Führer in the name of the bishops and the dioceses in Germany" and added with "fervent prayers which the Catholics of Germany are sending to heaven on their altars." (from Hitler's Pope: The Secret History of Pius XII, by John Cornwell). During Hitler's fiftieth birthday celebration (1939), special votive masses were held in every German church "to implore God's blessing upon Führer and people, and the Bishop of Mainz called upon Catholics in his diocese to pray specifically for "the Führer and Chancellor, the inspirer, enlarger and protector of the Reich." The Pope sent his congratulations, calling on Catholics to pray for the Führer and Chancellor.

I’m going through the most difficult moment of my life. My two year old daughter has kidney failure as a result of what seems to be e coli which has turned into HUS.

Hooked up to a bunch of different fluids and undergoing dialysis. It is just the beginning of what is often a grueling process and praying feverishly that her condition doesn’t degrade.
Thank you for your prayers, I invite you to do penance, to fast, to offer whatever you can. To those who have prayed rosaries and novenas you have my deepest gratitude.
I feel more at peace now than I did the last 48 hours. I am still nervous and restless but I am not the frantic mess I was yesterday.
Praying for good news in the morning, or the strength to bear bad news.

Odinists Persecuted
"From the beginning of the Third Reich, Odinists (pagans) were banned. In 1933, Rudolf von Sebottendorff was arrested and exiled. The works of Odinist writers such as Lanz von Liebenfels, Ernst Issberner-Haldane and Reinhold Ebertin were banned. Former membership of an Odinist congregation disqualified anyone from holding rank or office within the NSDAP. In 1936 Friedrich Marby, a runemaster and follower of Wotan worshipper Guido] von List, was arrested and sent to a camp at Flossenberg; he was released from Dachau in 1945. He was not alone. But the full power of the state was not focused on religious minorities until the 9th of June 1941 when the head of the security police, [Reinhardt] Heydrich, banned a large number of spiritual practices. Among the victims were followers of Rudolf Steiner, followers of von List, and traditional Odinists. Their organisations were dissolved, their property confiscated, and many of their leaders arrested."

This truly is very revealing into both Judaism and the philosophy of Dennis Prager. Why would someone spend that many hours on a topic that noscripture is so clear on? “Man should not lie with a man as with a woman” noscripture is clear and one should not waste time attempting to explain it away one way or another.
