Today, the 24th of March, we remember and pray for St Simon of Trent, murdered at age 2 by Ashkenazi Jews for their Passover. Being one of the best documented cases of such murders, and being raised to the altar, St Simon is truely an example of holy martyrdom and God’s love for the little ones.
Being suppressed, having his veneration, relics, procession and feast removed, St Simon’s case is one which a group of friends and I are helping to bring to light to fellow English speakers. Released today will be an assortment of folios from the trial of the Jews from 1475-1476, meticulously recorded, and translated for the first time into English by our group.
Beato Simone Di Trento,
Ora Pro Nobis.
God bless.
