The 26th, 27th and 28th of December form a triple feast day of condemnation of the Jews.

The 26th is St Stephen’s feast, the first martyr of the Church, stoned to death by Jews. This deacon of the New Law was killed by the spurned outcasts of the old. The readings reflect the evil of the Jews.

He was also boiled by the Jews.

The 28th is the feast of the Holy Innocents, an early martyrdom of the infant elect by the Jews. This mass murder of the elect to kill the Messias depicts the betrayal of God by the Jews, as they become the Egyptians of old, who massacred the innocents to murder the type of Christ, Moses, and to destroy the friends of God.
