Lots of interesting stuff on development from luna..

-Aventurine story in 2.x was a test, it was a companion quest that was integrated in the main story since player completion % for those was too low


-Aglaea has the lowest owning rate among every 5*


-amphoreus story was written the final goal of solving penacony issues in mind:
Make a story that actually focused on characters and make it long enough


-originally the herta wasn't a main push, but after the follow up team composed by hyacine cipher anaxa and tribbie was ultimate discarded, they now had several characters with no clear scope and they adapted the kit to work together, although herta was given a favorable environment she could not keep up with the main push


-In hoyo's opinion anaxa is a failure, there's no way a character like that could sell on anniversary

-main push are greenlit with 2 years of advance, currently the 5.x ones have already been decided.

-main pushes can't be moved, Yae will be in 4.2 even if the anniversary is earlier, other characters are commodities and can be moved.

-main pushes are designed before the planet, plot and everything else, everything needs to revolve around them

-castorice popularity was at its highest after the first trailer, after appearing in game her popularity only dropped. Same happened w phainon but after 3.4 it grew back and stabilised a bit.


-4.7 will feature the third main push of Planarcadia, a star rail original concept


-Evernight was originally designed with multiple memosprites as everyone supposed, the idea was ultimately scrapped since she wasn't a main push and it would require too much commitment.


-you can't just make a main push, after a character has been acknowledged as such, their SP will keep being relevant as well.

-character contends for resources, you can't make Evernight better than Castorice, she's the flagship, also the more memosprites on field the more your performances worsen, but you can't take the spotlight from the main push

This is clear on Phainon's ult that directly removes everyone, that's due to Phainon's extreme polygon count, this idea came to mind while testing acheron, it was the most demanding ult at the time and the idea was to leave only her on field, although in her case the teammates are still on field, you just can't see them


-Cyrene's bow wasn't designed as a skin, it's the initial design that was scrapped and they later sold it as a spending event item

-Ruan mei skin is a Chinese new year themed one, although she isn't from the xianzhou

-Sparkle Sp can work on mono elation but worse than yae

I'm always reluctant to post stuff like these because there clearly is a direct communication channel they use and that is anon leaks, take this as some random fun facts, not as reliable sources or anything like that, it's just convo in a group after all.

I think Yaoguang and SP Sparkle can be teammates since SP Sparkle's pre-set teams includes Yaoguang. But Elation techniques are a bit complex so I'm not sure how compatible they are.

Many people guess Anniversary Main Push char will be move to 4.1. Actually it would not happen. And all main pushes in 4.x will be female char.

Hello everyone, I hope you had a good New Year's Eve 🥰, now it's time for the really long SakuraHaven explanation for future char paths and other information. We did this previously in 3.x and we're doing it again.

First thing to note that's different with Elation vs Destruction. For anyone who read our last explanation, you may remember we said Hoyo used Des placeholders for Rem chars - this is slightly different for Elation now.
For Elation, they're actually using the base for the character that matches their kit before changing it to Elation.

For example, Yaoguang base was Harmony, Sparkle base was Destruction.

With that in mind, let's start with the most important stuff.
Sparkle - Fire Elation (duh)
Yaoguang - Physical Elation (duh)

One of the 4.1 characters is currently listed as Quantum Nihility, we suspect for this one, it's likely they're using the Nihility as a base and they'll actually be an elation unit.

Moving on, there are 4 other chars that they've moved to possibly testing soon so in no particular order they are:
A Preservation Char
A Elation Char
A Hunt Char
A Erudition Char


So that's 7 characters which we know are coming and are likely all 4.0-4.3.

Uba will post his educated guesses as to the order of the releases based on all the info we have

Next lets go through the stuff they're testing overall.

Other than the characters mentioned above, we have:
Possibly A Harmony Char (unless they just had to do a ton of testing for Yaoguang, more than we'd usually expect)
2 Hunt Chars
A Abundance Char
1-3 Erudition Chars
1-3 Destruction Chars

Note: Any one of the above chars may end up being an Elation char in disguise (using the old path as a base before switching).
Note 2: Rem is Rem now so the Des is likely not Rem

[HSR Future]

There are only 2 buffs currently in testing, likely 4.0 but not confirmed:
Blackswan and Sparkle (old)

So I just want to add while waiting for sparkle, unless drastic changes that may have occurred, I think the nga user who leaked about pearl and Yaoguang position was right on SW as well:

Which does make a lot more sense after 3.8 doesn't it?


All this just to say that I believe such a story driven SP can't be released if her story isn't out yet and I doubt it will by 4.1

「HSR Future」

Many people show me a prediction about future character's path and ask me if it's true.
I don't want to create conflict, but I believe people has the right to know the more accurate truth.
This prediction differs greatly from what I know. As far as I know, till 4.2, most new characters are elation.

We posted the info we have and yes, if you look at the pure numbers and include EMC the number of Elation vs Non-Elation should be about 1 in favour of Elation if EMC releases between 4.0 and 4.2

Maths:
4.0 = 2 Elation
4.1 = 1 Elation (likely) and 1 not
4.2 = Could have 1 more elation
And at some point we'd have EMC so another Elation which makes 4-5 Elation and 2-3 Non-Elation

I understand you have more concrete information than us sometimes and so that is very useful to help us decipher the information we have but your post here is weird... We'd hope you can tell the community the correct information if it goes against ours because the important thing is the right info being out there, not who is the person posting the right info otherwise we don't know why you'd say "more accurate truth" and then state information we said too 😭.

Sry, but this is not consistent with what I know about 4.1. And I'm not mean to argue, but giving the full schedule too early would put me in danger. So I just point out Most new chars are elation till 4.2. Perhaps we agree on this point, but I misunderstood. However, there are significant differences in the distribution of paths. Therefore, I still think this path distribution is somewhat suspicious. And I apologize if I may have caused you some misunderstanding. I wasn't particularly interested in being the first to post, but I do believe we have very different views on path distribution.
