📢 New research into scandalous deportation centre at BER airport - now is the time to take action! 📢 Construction of the deportation centre at BER has not yet begun, and it can still be prevented.
As a reminder: 108 places for deportation detention and fast-track asylum procedures are planned in the new deportation centre. An investor with a criminal record is to build the deportation centre. The infrastructure for the deportation offensive and the tightening of asylum laws is being created here.
There is now new research by Frag den Staat that points to numerous other inconsistencies in public procurement law.

With nowhere safe to go, deportation from Germany is a realistic possibility for me as a 20 year old, black queer activist. My family is stuck in my war-stricken homeland—moving back to Sudan is impossible. Genocide, the imminent threat of danger to my family and I, freedom as a queer and non-binary activist is unrealistic.
As a Sudanese, My activism, identity, and my relentless pursuit of Queer women's rights and democracy in Sudan have put my life in constant danger. As an outspoken queer feminist journalist and political human rights activist, I have faced risks and persecution both online and offline. I’m currently seeking a sustainable solution to escape harm, continue my art and activism, and rebuild my life free from fear and persecution.
In Sudan, I face severe threats and violence simply for being who I am. I lived in constant fear of government violence and persecution for writing and documenting the abuse towards women and Sudanese LGBTQIA+ individuals in protest during the revolution in Sudan.
I escaped this and relocated to Germany, but my relief was short-lived as my artist at risk visa expired on June 30, 2024. This new challenge of having to prove to white men that I deserve to stay in this country has created its own challenges — denial of education, doesn't allow me to work, and doesn't give me any social support. At this point, I’ve run out of options and I’m reaching out to you, my community, and allies, to help me raise the funds I need to secure my safety and stability. Your donation will help me cover the lawyer, legal fees, and living expenses.

Call for financial support
Sulti Foundation - Fundraising for Sulti & her family
It is with sadness and anger that we announce the passing of our beloved friend, comrade and activist of color Sulti.
Sulti's entire life was one of resistance and community power.
We fought alongside Sulti, discussed with each other, organized demos, rallies and events. We laughed together, cried together, expressed our anger on the streets, on paper and on banners. We have learned together, picked each other up, cared for and looked after each other. Sulti shows us the power of solidarity for the struggles of different communities. Through Sulti's constant and radical struggle, they have become a formative part of countless movements, whether in the Refugee Movement, Queer Feminist Politics, the struggle for Black Liberation or the decolonial climate movement - Sulti has accompanied each of these movements with all their strength and heart, with a deep belief in radical transformation and enriched them in struggle. Sulti has supported the vision of a just world for all.
Sulti has constantly fought against the oppressive, colonial-capitalist conditions. They were in constant confrontation with the system in order to transform it. The premature end of a radical and resistant life like Sulti's is neither an isolated case nor a coincidence. It is the result of the ongoing colonial-racist systems of oppression and injustice that constantly work to demoralize existences, voices and perspectives. This system has taken Sulti from us. Sulti stood up to this danger and violence with everything they had. The death of our beloved comrade and friend is the result of a chain of structural errors that this system deliberately makes in order to harm people like Sulti.
The family, friends and comrades are trying to be together in this difficult time and organize everything to celebrate and honor this life.
Sulti will be buried in their homeland of Kurdistan. For the transfer and organization of the memorial and all other necessary things, e.g. to cover travel expenses, accommodation, food, lawyers, etc. we want to support the family as much as possible.
We are calling for donations for Sulti and Sulti's family.
Every contribution is helpful, supportive and appreciated.
As reparation, as a gesture of solidarity, love in action or as necessary redistribution.
Or to put it in Sulti's words “abolition is my love language”
Let's be abolitionist, Let's care together, Let's mourn together, Let's support together.

Solidarity keeps us safe - against racist migration politics!
Protest against the new racist "Security Package" and deportation offensive.
Join us this Monday, 9th September 2024, at 6pm at Lausitzer Platz.
Politicians are weaponizing the attack in Solingen to call for measures that further criminalize and target refugees and migrants. These proposals are not coming from the AFD, — they are coming from the CDU, FDP, SPD, Greens.
After already deciding on the end of monetary Support of many refugees and the use of facial recognition by for persecution, the CDU is now even demanding the government shut Germany's borders and immediately push back everyone seeking asylum. This will be discussed in a meeting in the beginning of next week.
This fascist agenda doesn't make anyone safer — it tries to divides us and strips people of their dignity and rights. The political leaders pushing these measures are aligning with the far-right ideology of the AfD, promoting xenophobia and discrimination.
We fight for freedom of movement for all and the right to safety, dignity, and justice for all parts of society. And we know it's possible!
We stand together! Solidarity will win!
