The SMp40 variants will include this SMp41, an MP41 based derivative that uses most of the parts of the base version.

Also be on the lookout for an MP40/1 based variant, a completely different thing.

The SMp38 is a quick and easy modification for the SMp40 that backdates it to match the appearance of the early MP38. This is a supporter exclusive early release that will release for backers immediately with the public release of the SMp40, and at a later date for others.

The SMp38 will be released early for backers simaltaneous to the SMp40 release. Changes are cosmetic only.

The SMp41 is going to be a beta tester exclusive for now, but both groups will get access to the others exclusive release on the release of the next project.

The base model SMp40 is fully tested, done, proven, developed, or whatever word it needs to assure you bullets come out the end.

Two subvariants are done, the SMp38, and the SMp41, and a Sten magwell is on the way. An early release before the end of the month is possible.

When the MP40 drops we are doing optical bullshit

While the SMp40 is suffering some delays with the BLC joint release, value is still being added. I have made several accessories, new options and more DIY parts, and a parts kit vendor is tooling up high end machined versions of the small parts while we wait.

The extra month is worth the wait, as beta testers have tested now three different sub variants of the SMp40, and I have almost made and tested the entire issue list of accessories
