Social media apps highlight realities of war in Ukraine

We still disagree at all, because TikTok is the worse way to get informations. Is like comparing Facebook and Instagram, where on Ig there is just a shitty search feature. You can only get information based on TikTok AI or # of likes and views (again #likes and #views don't say anything). This is one of the main reason why all our backups are not TikTok based, but more about TikTok videos (or YouTube shorts, since they did good improvements in the last time) posted on other better socials (*), if the point is to get breaking news or search based news, and not only videos after 5 days or with 300k-1mio views. Without considering the fact that TikTok is the main social that bans war accounts.

*to be honest even the search feature or other features on other socials are not perfect, but still better compared to TikTok.

This is definitely a weak point of TikTok. It's always difficult to understand if an user is banned or they changed an url (in case you don't follow the user directly) because the links get not redirected to the new url. Other socials or Google send you to the old link too. In such case she changed to @laurenamourmusic, but there are a lot of cases where the user is banned. Would be time that TikTok and other socials fix such issues. PS: this has an negative influence to all backups too, because in such case they just get stopped (is not like with Telegram when you change the @)

Today we checked again different TikTok accounts. Is really sad to see that most channels are just bullshit or spamming accounts (but still get more views or follow compared to good channels), so not related to Ukraine at all. This is the sad reality of TikTok, a bad AI with a bad search feature. No matter which topic, since we continuously see such issues with TikTok, and we cover almost all topics. Generally you only see few good accounts in the for you or search results, even if there are much more if you do a more complex search. Good channels get now added to our Telegrams. Maybe in 2050 they will unterstand that they need to fix such issues, like Twitter understand after 3000 years that they need to add the edit feature.
