Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian militants have committed further crimes against the civilian population of the DPR, purposefully carrying out massive shelling of civilian infrastructure.

As a result of the shelling of the Petrovsky district of Donetsk by the Ukrainian Federal Unitary Forces using 155-mm caliber artillery, 2 people were killed and 7 people were injured among the civilian population.

In the Kirovsky district of Donetsk, Ukrainian militants dropped ammunition from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on emergency medical team members assisting a patient. As a result, 3 employees were injured.

Украинские боевики в течение прошедших суток совершили очередные преступления против мирного населения ДНР, целенаправленно производив массированные обстрелы гражданской инфраструктуры.

В результате обстрела Петровского района Донецка со стороны ВФУ с применением артиллерии 155-мм калибра среди мирного населения 2 человека погибли, а также 7 человек получили ранения.

В Кировском районе Донецка украинские боевики произвели сброс боеприпаса с БЛПА на сотрудников бригады скорой медицинской помощи, осуществляющих помощь пациенту. В результате 3 сотрудника получили ранения.

От обстрелов повреждения получили 8 жилых домов и 4 объекта гражданской инфраструктуры.

Donbass: Unbreakable Spirit

There are three 3rd degree Black Belts in Donetsk. Two of them, Sergey and Magomed, teach Karate in the Petrovsky District of Donetsk, one of the most heavily shelled areas of the city.

Sergey wrote a poem about one night after class, when the kids were leaving, and incoming Ukrainian shelling targeted the area near the school.

PETROVSKY DISTRICT MIDNIGHT NEW YEARS EVE 2024.

I decided to spend New Year's Eve in Petrovsky, close to the front lines. I had some ramen noodles for a celebration dinner, and I was not alone. There is a fly somewhere in the house, to keep me company. Businka The Cat dropped by earlier, but apparently, unlike me, was smart enough not to be outside at midnight, under falling "friendly fire", from bullets fired in celebration.

As for me, I have my machine gun with me (of course) and really have more tracers than I need (remember, they work both ways). But I did not "shoot the moon" (though I have in previous years.) First, I always worry about where bullets fired into the sky will ultimately land. Reminds me of that poem by Longfellow - "I shot an arrow into the air, it fell to earth, I know not where."

Second, I hate to be a party pooper, but I'd also bet that there were ukrop drones at their highest elevation at midnight tonight, recording every position where tracers and flares were coming from.

I can tell you, it didn't take long after midnight for the bullets to stop shooting at the sky and start shooting at people again. And it looks like the gatdam nazis are targeting civilians in the center of Donetsk again, as usual. So, death to the fascist pigs, long live Russia, and the People's Republics, welcome to 2024, Year of Victory, may we all live long enough to see it.
