Всю ночь я была на связи со всеми, кого могла потревожить даже ночью в поисках мужа. Это было начало первых двух месяцев практически без сна, потому что мой мозг вообще не мог отключиться для отдыха в поисках, собственном расследовании, бесконечных разговорах с каждым, до кого я могла дотянуться по всему миру. Очень многие из лучших побуждений меня пытались утешить и говорили, чтобы я не волновалась, что с Расселом мирно где-то в каких-то кабинетах беседуют за чашечкой чая... Кто-то из лучших побуждений, а кто-то из не лучших, как я теперь знаю. Через время начнётся противодействие даже следствию на всех уровнях...

All night long, I was in touch with everyone I could disturb even in the night in my looking for my husband. This was the beginning of the first two months of literally no sleep because my brain couldn't stop thinking at all to have a rest in my search, my own investigation, the endless conversations with everyone I could reach around the world. A great many well-meaning people tried to comfort me and told me not to worry, that Russell and 'they who got him' were talking peacefully in some offices somewhere over a cup of tea..... Some people said that with the best of intentions and some with not the best of their intentions, as I now know. After a while, 'they' will start to resist at all levels even to the investigation...

9-го числа полгода назад я продолжала самостоятельно искать Рассела. Благодарю каждого, кто искренне предпринимал всё возможное, чтобы узнать, где он. Но легенда преступников и тех, кто их покрывали, о том, что "Рассел убежал", сработала. Это увело меня в неправильном направлении розыска снова по всем соседям, знакомыми и друзьям, по возможным местам его пребывания, и я потеряла время, вместо того, чтобы сразу обратиться в полицию. Но заявление было всё же подано, вернее два: о пропаже мужа, и о пропаже нашей машины. В полиции я провела много часов - до 20:00, давая показания, вместе с полицией выезжая на место задержания Рассела, в попытке найти свидетелей.

Ко мне только недавно, анализируя всё, что я уже знаю, пришло осознание, что кто-то уже сразу тогда решил за меня, что "никто Рассела в розыск не подавал и подавать не собирается". Это как?! Несколько раз пыталась дозвониться до человека, чтобы расспросить, кто ему так сказал тогда - явно не какой-то маленький рядовой танкист...

On the 9th of April, six months ago, I continued to look for Russell on my own. I thank everyone who sincerely did their best to find out where he was. But the legend of the criminals and those who covered for them that “Russell has run away” worked. It took me in the wrong direction of tracking down again all the neighbors, acquaintances and friends, all the possible places where he might be, and I wasted time instead of going straight to the police. But I did file a report, or rather two: about my husband missing, and about our car missing. I spent many hours at the police station until 8 p.m., giving statements, going together to see the place he was captured from, trying to find any eyewitnesses.

Only recently, analyzing everything I already know, it came to me that someone had decided for me that “nobody has applied about Russell's missing and nobody will apply about him missing”. (It's in the first screenshot.) How come?! They must have counted that I would get scared. I tried to call the person several times to ask who told him that - obviously not a little tank man ....
