The Bolsheviks were Marxist, they represented the interests of the workers and peasants, the overwhelming majority of the population. The Tsar represented the interests of the feudal landlords and capitalists, the overwhelming minority of the population, the equivalent of today's oligarchs.
In 1917 Russian capitalists were joined at the hips with anglo-french Capital.

Bolsheviks were a vanguard, relatively small in numbers in 1917, around 150K in a population of 125M.
But behind them were 11M bayonets!
They took power like taking a baby's milk. Lenin said the October Socialist Revolution was as easy as "lifting a feather".
The hard part came 6 months later. The overthrown landlords and capitalists rose up against Soviet power and 14 capitalist states sent their troops to help them. But over 4 years, Bolsheviks beat the crap out of them, from the Baltic to the Pacific. The U.S. invaded the Soviet Republic in Siberia, the French in Crimea and Odessa. They all got butthurt and got the fuck out. Japan and their "Russian" lapdogs were the last one to leave Siberia in 1922.

Putin ain't no communist, he glorifies tsarism. Too bad, we did beat the fuck out of tsarism 105 years ago. But Putin, being a Russian patriot, somewhat admires the Man of Steel, namely Joseph Stalin.
And he should. Stalin found Russia with the wooden plough and left her with the Atomic pile. And Stalin defeated History's biggest onslaught: the 3rd Reich.
Once again communists are the vanguard of the struggle against the 4th Reich. It was they who sparked the general rebellion in Donetsk on February 21st, 2014 when they appealed to the people to gather around Lenin's statue on main Square to protect it against the hordes of Ukronazis on their way to destroy it.
It was the Russian Communist Party (Zyuganov) who in May 2014 asked Putin to recognize the 2 People's Republics. It took Putin 8 years to do it.
It would have taken Bolsheviks 8 hours!
Now, the image of the USSR inspires the whole Russian people in their war of National Liberation against the 4th Reich.

Прошлись по Рубежному и Северодонецку, проверили "индекс оливье" и немношк офигели: цены здесь в два раза выше, чем в Луганске.

Основное правило: ближе к фронту = выше цены. Мелкие яйца — 85 рублей, самая дешёвая колбаса — 800, сало — 400, подсолнечное масло — 200, майонез — 150.

Встретили бабушку, которая распродавала свои вещи, и купили ей набор для оливье — вышло 1500 рублей. Самая маленькая ёлочка стоит 1600. Местные жалуются, что цены каждый день вырастают на 10 рублей.

Some of my acquaintances and friends scold me for being too emotional when I write about the stupidity and corruption of defense officials and businessmen. And I can't change my attitude. The faces of the boys who died before my eyes. Here is another soldier stepped into eternity.
But how much they talked about drones! Syria, Donbass, Karabakh. Everyone saw that a new weapon had appeared that needed to be dealt with. Everyone saw it, except for those who should have seen it.
Can you imagine what this guy in the video felt, what he thought before pulling out the pin?

We are, most of us unwittingly, bearing witness to a momentous development: the end of the thousand-year Drang nach Osten—the relentless eastward march of the reanimated corpse of the Western Roman Empire, with the Pope as its symbolic head and Vatican as its symbolic capital—known as the Crusades. Of these, the Southern Crusades are far better known in the West, while the Northern Crusades, launched in 1147, are far less widely known. But they were kept going the longest—until February 22, 2022—because, unlike China, India and just about every other non-Western country, Russia has never surrendered to anyone.

The gauntlet was thrown down in 1252, when Alexander Nevsky accepted an official document, called yarlyk, from Khan Batyj of the Golden Horde (part of the Mongolian Empire), allowing him to reign as the Grand Prince of Kiev (and thus the ruler of all of Russia), rather than ask for a blessing from the Pope in Rome, as was required of all Western kings. To these Western potentates, their claim to be ordained by God was based on approval by His head office at the Vatican; to the Russians, the Pope was just some heretic usurper. The religious distinction played itself out over time, but the notion that there is an exclusive club of Western nations who deserve to wield authority over the rest of the world has remained to this day.

There followed a series of onslaughts on Russia spanning many centuries, all stemming from the same simple principle: that which the West cannot control must be destroyed. The Germans and the Swedes kept on attacking it until 1709. Then the French attacked again in 1812; and then the Germans in 1941. The Americans were poised to attack in March of 2022, via their Ukrainian/NATO proxies, but were preempted by Russia’s Special Military Operation. Thus, the last Crusade has been aborted and further attempts seem unlikely, since, at this point, there is no question of destroying that which the West cannot control, and not just Russia but also much of the rest of the world. Even tiny North Korea can stand up to the collective West and wag a finger in its face. The thousand-year show is nearly over.

Over the previous centuries, every time after Russia expelled yet another crusader, some other Western nations would take the lead and attempt to march on Moscow: it was the Germans (as the Teutonic Knights, then the Swedes, the Poles, then some more Swedes, then the French under Napoleon, then the Germans under Hitler, and now the Americans (disguised as some hapless, clueless Ukrainians) under Biden. (Yes, the last act of this drama is most definitely a farce.) But who could possibly rise up as the next crusader du Jour? Nobody! Russian volunteers escaping from Ukrainian fire
