"Just as we were ready to call the 50MP mode on the S22+ mostly unremarkable and write it off, Samsung's new Detail Enhancer feature managed to step in and change our opinion quite a bit. It is a feature making its debut on the S22 family and is available within the 50MP camera mode on the S22 and S22+ and the 108MP mode of the S22 Ultra. What it offers is a more sophisticated AI-driver picture stacking that combines multiple shots to resolve the most detail possible. We have to say the results are impressive. The extra detail is there as promised while also maintaining consistency in other quality aspects.

Detail Enhancer does take a few seconds to capture a shot. Not more than Night Mode, though, and its toggle is kind of easy to miss within the camera interface unless you know to look for it. Other than these minor issues, we can wholeheartedly recommend it for its results. If you are going to shoot in 50MP mode on the S22+ for the extra detail, you need this enabled."

I wish one of their humanitarian efforts would be letting their customers in a critical situation use their hw with no restrictions that can render it useless in case of an internet outage. Offline app sideloading can be crucial to keep local (off-the-grid) communication up.

After researching a little bit of MIUI system framework code(decompiled), trying to find a way to fix the text selection menu on older MIUI, we found out that the text selection menu(or text editor, actually) of MIUI was based on the code of Android 5 even on MIUI that is based on Android 11.
The method of customizing the text selection menu used by Telegram only supports Android 6.0+, this is why it didn't work on MIUI.

This issue was resolved by MIUI 13.

Yeah, I know he doesn't work there anymore, but it's not like he'd get banned for bold words or that his influence is completely gone. Unless he's just fine sitting on the earned money (which is fairly probable), this current delicate wording seems like a hint of starting his own social media under a different brand, sometime later. Either way, the only thing that could excuse the looks of current Twitter would be an assumption that he lacked the power in his company (let's say due to shareholders, where himself he's said to own just 2%), which wouldn't be very uncommon, but I'm not used to giving big benefit of doubt to huge corp CEOs. I doubt that something like login wall is what investors actually list in their demands. And sure, that's not everything yet to be wrong about Twitter.
Has a bit of info that otherwise doesn't get posted on company sites
Hey Oppo, congrats on nearly proper high-res mode, it has less sharpening compared to the other high-res mode(s) you offer, and that's nice (although there's still too much of it), but please improve the color sampling.

As much as component pricing looks rather okay, we're yet to see if the whole "self-repair" is meant to be used by third party service centers at all. Considering the IMEI/serial number check, it can turn out that each device unit is only able to order a single component replacement just once. Some complications may also arise when given customer turns out "too big" to be an individual. Or when device is from another region. We'll see the results in few months. I'd want to be optimistic, sure.

No endorsement of buying an OEM bl locked device that has to rely on third party workarounds, but if you already got yourself in this position with a Nokia or Sharp, do check the site above.

This is the shortest exposure time I could set by default (1/80613s) + defocused direct sun. The dot pattern obviously represents the PD pixels. Generally, shortest available exposure time combined with direct sun is what can awesomely showcase the physical characteristics of your sensor, shot by the sensor itself.
Of course, CMOS sensors aren't organic, they're kinda fine with intense sun, you'd probably need to hurt them intentionally to be left with a visible mark (no, the photo is not a burnt CMOS, it's a JPEG with these artifacts visible only at the exposure time mentioned above).
