2022 has even been “the year of the DAO”, with The New York Times noting that DAOs are one of the fastest-growing areas of the crypto-ecosystem.
The World Economic Forum states that DAOs are the future way of doing business and are transforming corporate formation.
According to DeepDAO, on 13 June 2023 there were a total of 12,745 DAOs with a total treasury of $18.5 billion (yes, that's billion with a B!), 6.8 million token holders and 2.4 million active voters and proposal makers.
