I have a girlfriend in Shanghai who is doing her best to be brave in a terrifying situation where her area is padlocked, they can't go out unless it's for the daily swab tests. Yes, they are testing them everyday and is someone tests positive they get hauled off to a facility with no choice in the matter and no choice which facility. She has been only eating once a day to save on food because groceries aren't open. She was finally able to order an emergency box and she was so thankful for it, she cried. Thankfully she has internet connection and electricity so we are able to talk on messenger. She cries on and off but is doing all she can to keep a stiff upper lip. I am also doing my best to help her stay calm. This morning, the medical team banged on her door yelling for her to wake up dvd move fast for the daily swab test. It left her so stressed. The govt is not telling them how long the draconian lockdown will last. 💔💔💔 I'm praying that it ends soon for the sake of my friend and other people like her who are barely getting by.
